House was very comfortable for three adults and one child. Very clean and put together with easy access to everything in Shenandoah. We will be back!

No doubt ...this home was absolutely lovely ! Comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated, awesome screened porch with the outdoor theatre and basic essentials provided !!!
However, this home was not a Peaceful Retreat ! The neighborhood is very active with homes very close in proximity. You could literally hear conversations of the neighbors. Dogs barking, lawn mowers, chain saws (cutting down trees), dump trucks (homes being built nearby) general construction noise. I actually fell asleep on the screened porch but awoke around 2am to dogs barking.
Beautiful home and place to stay if you aren't looking for a peaceful retreat !

It's out there but this made things quiet except for the cat that kept coming to the porch making us think someone was out there. Once we got our bearings and found our way out and down to the lodge we were fine. Very relaxing as we were in town for a relative going to the local hospital so it was helpful to retreat to the woods to take a breath. Thanks for letting us use your cute house!

It's out there but this made things quiet except for the cat that kept coming to the porch making us think someone was out there. Once we got our bearings and found our way out and down to the lodge we were fine. Very relaxing as we were in town for a relative going to the local hospital so it was helpful to retreat to the woods to take a breath. Thanks for letting us use your cute house!

Love the cabin! Very clean and cozy! It was actually way more spacious than I was anticipating. Love the amenities- fire and outdoor theater were a hit! Beautiful views!

This property is exactly like the pictures! The cabin was huge, clean, & comfortable. It was a perfect location to get around and site see. Our son enjoyed the movie night in the screen-in patio. Thank you for your hospitality!

Loved the location and house. Had a very annoying barking dog next door that woke us up our 1st day there at 5 a.m. Wasn't impressed with the TV. Could not find local channels like ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC.

Comfortable cabin in the woods. Very clean and nicely equipped. The Host was very responsive. Answered questions promptly and even added a grill when I asked if one was there. It was good to be driving an SUV for the unpaved roads in the area. Remote but not too far from Harrisonburg where we enjoyed mini golf and the Escapism Escape Rooms.

We loved staying at this house! The decor was amazing, the bed in the main bedroom was beyond comfortable, and we loved the fenced in back porch. We would definitely return!

This property was very nice & clean. The property owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. There are some gravel roads you have to take to get there, but after driving it a couple of times, it wasn’t bad. We had a great time & were able to see things in the area we had never seen before.

We had a lot of fun! Definite upgrade from staying in a hotel, but be prepared to travel tight and gravel covered roads to get here.

Myself and my family (husband, 2 young boys) stayed at the property for two nights while experiencing the beautiful Shenandoah area! The house was very clean and well stocked with towels, linens, tp etc. we were very happy with our stay! Thank you!

My new husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway from DC after our wedding. He had to work and the house had great, reliable wifi. The neighborhood was quiet and everything we wanted. The house provided great amenities and comfortable accommodations. A great find!

This place was amazing! Melissa was great to work with. Responds quickly. We didn’t use all the amenities because this was an unwind, unplug trip. Everything you need is there for a comfy getaway.

Overall the experience was good, would change a few things, if you have bedding for six, having multiple places for groups of people to sit (i.e. allowing dad and kid to sit one place, and mom and kid to sit another), also having the home prepped for renters -- the fire pit tank was empty for our initial use, and we had to change it (it would have been nice to have it ready to go when we wanted to use it).

Excellent experience at this property. Everything was perfect. The house it is amazing for families. The kids love the outdoors movies with fire pit . Excellent quality bedding! Highly recommend.
