This house is listed and staged beautifully. However the pictures do not show, the dingy furniture, the couch in the mail living are had the springs poking us every tim we sat down. The sliding glass door the deck was so heavy and sticky it was very difficult to open and close. The most hazardous thing about this house is the staircase inside and out. The staircase inside the house had steps that are not wide enough for an average sized foot to step on without hanging over, they are covered in wood laminate causing them to be slippery and it is a windy type of staircase. My grandchildren fell on them more than once and my daughter slipped, fell while carrying her 2 month old baby. Luckily they were not hurt severel. The outdoor stairs are very slick when they are wet. This house is showcased to have use of a hot tub and grill. Both of those things were not working. I was warned of this before my stay, but they still show case that it is available. The area around the hot tub has been neglected so I imaging the hot tub has not been in working condition for awhile. The pair of underwear and socks that my grandson picked up off the ground had been there for awhile. I understand renting a place that takes dogs there is not going to be the fanciest furniture there. But I saw cleaner chairs at good will that could be used for $40 dollars. Under the cushions of the chairs and couch had fur and crumbs. Under the sheets there was either no mattress pad or stained matres

The location was excellent, and the house looks amazing in the pictures. We arrived at the house to find that one of the showers was broken, and some of the sheets and all the rugs were dirty. Later, as we tried to use the hot tub, it was broken also. We immediately sent the rental company a message and called hoping to get them to repair the shower and the hot tub. We never heard back from them and called multiple times each day during our three days there, and the morning we checked out we called the management company the SEVENTH time. They said they would give us a little refund and accused us of having more guests than the rental property allows. We had 12 guests and the listing said the maximum is 13! We are so frustrated! We spent so much time of our vacation trying to get Meredith Lodging to help us with our concerns and issues in the house and nobody even came to the house once to fix anything during our vacation and never called us back until after we checked out! Then they accused us of having more people than allowed when we didn’t! We are super disappointed! This house could be amazing if taken care of properly. Meredith Lodging didn’t communicate with us at all or even address the issues in the house. All the issues were things that were broken/dirty before we checked in. I would recommend this house if it wasn’t for the horrible experience we had with Meredith Lodging. I hope the issues in the home get resolved before the next guests arrive.

The location is perfect! We really enjoyed our stay.

Very accommodating of our family and fur baby! This place was awesome! Super close to the beach access to walk down and the view was a amazing! We will definitely be back!
