We stayed here for two weeks for a ski vacation and really enjoyed it. Easy access to both Cottonwood canyons and even Deer Valley wasn't that far. Good privacy, we didn't see or hear the owners during our stay. It was nice to have a garage to park in. The owner is incredibly nice and even left us fresh baked cookies during our stay. Saw antlered deer in the back yard. The apartment is very clean and nicely decorated. Looking forward to staying here again.

Located in a very nice neighborhood with garage parking. This immaculate, contemporary home was such a pleasure. Personal touches make it so special.

Host was very prompt with communications and made us feel very welcome. Accommodations exceeded expectations. We were able to prepare meals in the apartment rather than eating out for every meal. There is a garage and separate entrance, so plenty of privacy if that is important to you. This place is perfect for a couple. I highly recommend!

The owner, Christine, was easy to contact via email and text. Check-in was easy once we got there, although we had trouble thoroughly understanding the message of where the key was prior to arrival. There was a garage which is a great bonus in the winter. The kitchen was well equipped even having champagne glasses. The bed was comfortable, bathroom large and well equipped. The stairs going up to the apartment would be difficult for older or challenged people, especially while bringing up luggage. There was no wifi which I somehow missed in the description, but it is coming according to the owner. The only thing that it truly lacked (for skiers) would be a hot tub.

The host was very responsive. The unit was exceptionally clean. We appreciated the little touches of big fluffy towels, a nice kitchen area with a few supplies, and the garage. It is listed as accommodations for four, but the sleeping arrangements are more suited for two people in the bed. After trying the futon unfolded, I folded it back up and slept on it like a regular sofa. There is no wifi and the TV has limited channels except for shopping. I admit, maybe I didn't know how to find the channels. We were not there very much so it wasn't an issue. Before we checked out, we offered to strip the beds and start the dishwasher, but the host said we didn't have to do anything, not even empty the trash. Overall, it's a beautiful unit that feels like you are in a home and not a rental. I would definitely recommend and would rent again. Thank you to the wonderful host.

We were very comfortable in the apartment! The host was very responsive the couple times we needed to ask questions. The apartment is well appointed. The neighborhood is very quiet, but within east driving distance of good restaurants and the area’s activities.

My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay in this apartment above the garage--with its own garage for parking your car and entrance to the apartment. There are plenty of amenities in the kitchen and we loved the beautifully decorated and lovely space! We will be back!

Beautiful Property. Very clean, user friendly, comfortable bed and furnishings and in a fantastic location- close to the freeway and anywhere you may want to visit. The property is quiet and Christine is a gracious hostess. Will definitely come again!

I've stayed in a lot of VBRO properties and this was one of the very best. Highly recommended!!

Everything about our stay was perfect, from the amazing host to the kitchen having everything we needed to a comfortable bed, and a spacious well designed space. Christine was incredibly kind, efficient and required nothing upon leaving. I've never had that experience to date in a VRBO. We went for a beautiful walk through the neighborhood, which is tucked away yet you are still close to restaurants and stores-5 minutes away or less. I will stay here again. :)

This was a lovey above the garage apartment. We had our own garage to park our rental and the entrance to the apt was inside the garage. I never saw or heard anything from the main house. (saw the garage door open once when we were leaving). Communication with the host was awesome. The place was SUPER clean and the host had the air running, so it was nice and cold upon our arrival. We didn't cook there, but the kitchen appeared to have all the necessary items to make any meal. When checking out, the host didn't ask us to do anything. This is a first for me, since my husband and I are use to at the very minimum stripping the beds, doing all the dishes (we did anyways - just coffee pot and mugs), and taking out the garbage. A nice perk if you have to catch an early flight. This place was only about a 20-25 minute drive to the airport with traffic. Would definitely recommend.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The apartment is exactly as the pictures show. It is well decorated, well appointed, and impeccably clean. Communication with the owner is as easy as can be, and always timely. I highly recommend, though I know doing so may result in its unavailability for my next visit.

Christine was quick to respond and super nice . I would totally book this again . We had everything we needed , privacy and we were so cozy. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area . Christine’s hospitality is next level !

The apartment was a great stay for myself and son. He did stay on the pull out couch which like others mentioned was not comfortable, however, it worked for our short stay. Having a kitchen was helpful and Christine was the best host. Easy to communicate with and when an issue came up on our first night she was quick to fix it. The garage space was wonderful to keep our car out of the hot sun. I would definitely stay again!

We found this place to be perfect for our road trip from Oregon to Colorado and back. We stayed here both times passing through. Having the private garage space was amazing to unload necessary items and leave others out overnight.

Communication was quick and easy. I loved that we were able to have the garage to park in which gave us privacy and the ability to leave items there without packing and unpacking.

Christine was so easy to communicate with. Checked in to see if we needed anything. The apartment had everything we needed. Spotless, beautifully furnished. Easy to get to all our destinations. Would highly recommend!!

I was visiting for a weekday ski trip and this place was excellent! Checkin was smooth, the property was perfect for what I needed and it was within 30 minutes of the resorts. Host is an excellent communicator and I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in SLC.

Outstanding stay in a Cozy neighborhood. Deer, fowel, and trees across the property with a picturesque mountain backdrop, but only a 5 minute drive to Walmart. Garage parking, so no shoveling or cleaning snow from the car!

This was the perfect place for our weekend ‘layover’ in SLC on our way down to St. George for spring break. The garage was so convenient to be able to pull our truck in and keep our bikes and ski equipment safe and out of the elements. We initially thought the lack of thermometer control was an issue, but we ended up being completely comfortable and used the space heater in the bathroom for a little extra warmth getting out of the shower. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic apartment! Amenities were good. Having a warm garage to keep car out of the elements and a place to dry out ski gear was great. Holladay location was very convenient to skiing, shopping and SLC. Only negative was there was no Wi-Fi but owner stated they were working on it. Highly recommend and would stay again.

This apartment was absolutely perfect for my husband and I for the week. The space is airy, generously-sized, perfectly quiet, and tucked away on a beautiful residential street near stores and restaurants. The appointments are lovely, from the functional kitchen, comfortable bed, and oversized bathroom. Garage parking was an unexpected bonus, especially useful when the snow is coming down! We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit.

I don’t know where to start. The property was beautiful and included everything you could possibly need/want. I really appreciated the owner’s attention to making the space beautiful (one of my favorite past times is interior design). The space was also very comfortable. The location was convenient to go skiing, get to restaurants, and grocery stores. It was also really nice to have covered parking. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great stay!

Very spacious and clean property. The decor seemed like home. This is a newly built or remodeled garage apartment located in a nice custom home, high end, neighborhood. The garage was large and fit out car with room to spare. The bathroom was large with nice finishes. The kitchen was nice but lacking the normal things we usually find in a VRBO like condiments and little extras that are either left behind by other guests or provided by the owner. The bed was our biggest complaint. The full size bed should be upped to at least a queen if not, a king. There is enough room for it in the bedroom. The pillows could also be upgraded. I also wish that there was a thermostat in the rental. I froze quite a bit. Luckily we found a little heater to use in a bathroom closet on the 2nd day. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay. The home was very clean.

We very much appreciated our stay in this lovely, well-equipped space. The location is 30’ to Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude (traffic notwithstanding) and 40’ to Deer Valley. The hostess Christine made check-in seamless and answered questions immediately. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom had a wonderfully hot shower and fluffy towels. Parking in the garage was a bonus, especially for those cold mornings. Our main critique was that the bed was pretty soft and tended to funnel two people towards the middle. Also, currently there is no Wi-Fi available, which can be an issue if you don’t have a lot of hot-spot data or need a day of work while you are there. Overall, it was a lovely, convenient place to stay that we would recommend to others, and indeed would stay here again if available for our next Utah ski vacation!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The property was exactly as advertised, clean, exactly as the photos show, quiet and very close to the ski slopes which is the reason for our stay. Having the garage access was a fantastic bonus. The only issue we had was the bed. The mattress is worn out and difficult for two to sleep in without rolling to the middle. It would be an easy fix to replace the mattress. Other than that the place is fantastic. Thanks

Love the rental, it was private, clean and decorated beautifully; we were also able to bring our small dog which was an additional bonus. It is a new rental so there were just a few small things they didn't have that would have made the stay more comfortable like a broom and dust pan and extra oven mitts and cooking sheets, a floor mat inside the door to put snowy shoes and boots on--small things like that but overall we really enjoyed our stay. It is in a nice quite, upscale neighborhood in Holladay so there were no concerns about crime and we were able to pull our car into one of the garage bays because that is how you access the apartment, through stairs in the garage, and that was nice in the cold weather. The two things I recommend upgrading for a consistent five star rating is the size of the bed in the bedroom and the couch. The bed was a little too small for us, and the couch was very hard to sit on and not comfortable to sleep on. We ended up getting an air mattress for our daughter to sleep on instead of the couch. Overall we were very pleased and reccomd it for a small family.
