I loved this Inn!! It wasn’t far from downtown, yet seemed to be in the quaint countryside.

This is a quaint Inn in the Finger Lakes where we once had stayed previously and due to the location and are enjoying the day we went again en route a road trip. Although we did not mind having the room key left in an envelope at the front door with an entry code because we arrived at 7:30 PM it was disappointing that no one was there when we left in the morning at 9:30 The building the room and the grounds are quaint, but needing much love- Including an interior paint job, Repair to the wallpaper, And the new mattress which is very soft and uncomfortable Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a stay at this location

Classy, tasteful decor. Bed & seating comfortable. Nice view of grounds & a bit of lake. Enjoyed being able to open windows for fresh air. Bathroom too small for comfort, however. Help with luggage offered. Breakfast fine. Too bad the bar was not more available, & that the restaurant was not open.

The room was spacious, clean and had a king sized bed. The bathroom was small. There was enough choices for the breakfast.

This is a nice old inn, across the street from the lake. March is not the ideal time for this lovely venue, but it was on my way to my destination and I enjoyed my time here. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. My large room had a nice view, comfortable bed and nice furnishings and lovely bathroom. Old building and old-fashioned, but still a nice place to visit.

I had an incident were a staff member refused to serve me wine. She initially questioned if I was a guest, and when I said I was, she then said the bar was not opened yet. She then said she could but had to take a chair somewhere. I watched her lift the chair & 6 mins later, I was standing still waiting on her to return. I left without the wine.

This was quite a find! A lovely bed and breakfast within easy driving distance of Auburn. Pretty, comfortable room, spotlessly clean, very quiet, nice breakfast, view of the lake from our window. Had a great dinner at a restaurant recommended by the hotel. Very reasonable price. Hope to return.

Sean and Beth were awesome. We were made feel at home from the time we arrived. A property with lots of character and owners who genuinely care about thier guest.

Pleasant

Old 1800's house in a beautifully manicured setting not too far from the lake. Very quiet. We were met by a young woman who was very welcoming and friendly. We had a nice room with period style decor and a big king size bed (what we generally look for). The air conditioning unit was very quiet which was a nice change from the norm. Fridge and coffee station set up was nice. Overall it was clean except for the wood floors which were very sticky and loud when you walked on them. Don't know if they just cleaned up after a huge juice spill or just not rinsed properly. It was loud enough to disturb someone's sleep. The throw rugs were very dirty as was the couch and chairs. A 90's couch (I have a similar one so I recognize the age) just really dirty and would benefit from a steam cleaning. It's a 7 room inn so that would be possible in the off season. I mean, everything's possible. Overall, the room was pleasant (bed not so comfortable but better than a lot that trip) just needs a deep clean.

Love the history of the Inn, the grounds were absolutely beautiful. My husband enjoyed talking with the owners, who were very welcoming.

We accidentally booked this place at Auburn NY, within 5 minutes we realized we wanted Auburn Massachusetts. Called the place a person named Beth, refused to refund us our money. So be very aware !! We Called Hotels,com. They called her and she will not refund the money. Case closed, we got screwed!!!

Lovely inn. Though it was off season, our stay was perfect.

The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.

Quiet, great service. Good drinks at the restaurant. Room was large and very comfortable.

We loved our stay at Springside Inn! It was clean, the bed was super comfy and the staff was very friendly. The only negative (and this IS NO FAULT to the inn) that I can say is that there was a wedding party downstairs and when people came up the stairs (which were right next to our room) to use the restroom, they were very inconsiderate of the fact that guests were staying there and possibly trying to sleep. They were just very loud.

Excellent historic Inn. Beautiful grounds & building. Room was gorgeous with wonderful decor. 4 poster bed with exquisite bedding & super comfortable. Bathroom was super clean with whirlpool tub & shower. Nice thick towels too. Innkeepers were very helpful and very friendly. Lovely dining area.

Very nice old inn with 7 rooms and a nice restaurant and bar. The room was beautiful and very spacious with lots of windows. Close to the lake and to the town of auburn. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant, but we probably would have just eaten the bar food during Happy Hour from 4-6. The nachos, sliders and Brussel sprouts all looked very good.

The only thing I wish we'd had was a mini-fridge in the room. Otherwise it was perfect!

The family-owned and operated property is a sensational gem. A pure delight and we enjoyed our stay so very much.

Very charming and cozy

The owners were so very friendly - accommodating - and informative . The site is on 8 acres of parkland that is both manicured and naturally scenic. The rooms are very nicely furnished with period furniture coupled with modern appliances and comforts. A must stay - whether a stopover ( as we did ) on a road trip - or a longer stay ( swimming , fishing , biking , hiking etc ) as we plan do on our next stay ( within the next few months !)

BEST STAY EVER . AND WE HAVE STAYED AT A LOT OF PROPERTIES . VERY CLEAN . COMMUNICATION WITH BETH WAS EXCELLENT . PROPERTY IS GORGEOUS . INSIDE WAS EXTREMELY ELEGANT . WE WILL DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN . PROBABLY SOON . WE WERE SO IMPRESSED WITH EVERYTHING , ESPECIALLY THEIR HOSPITALITY .

It was my birthday and on a whim we decided to take a road trip. The place was so lovely! And even though Easter brunch was sold out, they found a place for us to eat. Beth the owner and staff were friendly and accommodating. The grounds were lovely and across the street from the lake. I highly recommend this place and hope to return.
