Overall we liked the calm stay at this property near to beach with clean house and facilities. I always make my reviews helpful for other travellers so that they won't have any surprises when they visit. Near to the stay you will get a long email from Peter :) explaining the puzzles you have to solve before you enter the property which was fun. Though we were there for a getaway from our busy schedule, absence of TV was a surprise for us, which was not known before we arrived at the property. The pics are a little bit misleading since I thought we had that space in the backyard, but on arrival, we understood that the space shown in the pics was actually our side of the house and backyard is pretty close to the fence and near to other houses. South Durras is a place where most houses are depending on rain water tanks. Though this did not cause any issue for our water use, it caused a little bit of tension when we heard about the water restrictions through Peter's email. We took our 5 litre water container which we use for even brushing our teeth since we were not comfortable using tap water. Other than this, property was very clean and facilities were good. Wifi was strong. All rooms had fans though not ceiling fans. Toilet would have been more private if there were some blinds. We managed to cover with our sheets. Though no linen was provided, all beds were quite clean and we used our own bed sheets and towels. Thank you Peter for a wonderful stay at your property.

This cottage was an excellent place to relax in South Durras. Everything was clean and comfortable and we all enjoyed a game of monopoly. A quick walk to either Cookies beach for a swim or to the dog beach for our four legged fur-friend to run, dig and play with other dogs. Thanks!

A lovely home for our family holiday. Peter was a very responsive and thorough host. Comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen. A great games drawer for down time. The kids loved seeing the kangaroos come through the yard.

We had a wonderful time. House was perfect and in a great location. Kangaroo’s in the garden at night was also fun to watch. Highly recommended 😊
