A spectacular location. Only 8 min from castles but set in a meadow with horses and lake. Very spacious accommodations, wish we stayed longer.

Super Lage.

This place was out of this world! I wish we had known before we booked all of our trip, we would have stayed here a few more days! The service was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so fresh and tasty. Such a relaxing stay! We will most definitely be back.

Great place to stay. We didn’t know one of the keys was for the office. There’s a coffee machine in there. Bring coin if you forget to bring your own coffee.

Beautiful location with cows and horses close by (note the smell of the country when you open the windows, which you will need to, because like most places in the area, there is no A/C). Gorgeous views of the mountains from the rooms. The breakfast area is pure Bavaria and super cool. Staff was very welcoming. Room was very beautiful and well equipped including a basic kitchen with everything you'd need for a long stay. We arrived after reception closed and the instructions were easy to follow. This place is a hidden gem! It's close to Fussen (15 min) if you are in the area to see the castles, but far enough to get away from the crowds.

Peaceful stay outside of Fussen. This place was an oasis - we stayed in the cabin down by the pool and it was the perfect getaway. We had a pool, grill, picnic table, and fire pit outside. Inside was spacious with a luxurious bathroom shower and tub. Right near the lake too which was so warm!! We enjoyed staying in here much more than going into the town of Fussen.

The staff was very accommodating. We loved the upstairs balcony and view from the room. The morning breakfast was great too. We will stay here next time we are in the area for sure!

Hotel property is beautiful. Room was spacious and very clean. Perfect for our family of four. Free parking onsite. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed just one night but already felt very relaxing not only in our room but in the whole facility. Dining area had small space for little kids to play which is always great for family with small kids like us. We enjoyed the stay and can highly recommend.

We LOVED our stay at Landhaus Kössel! We stayed there one night as we visited Fussen for the Neuschwanstein Castle. We arrived late but the key was easily accessible and the hotel had sent clear instructions. The room was nice and warm, and quite large. There was a hot water bottle and gummy bears placed on the bed as a good night treat. The view overlooking snow, horses and a frozen pool was divine. It’s located a bit outside Fussen, near a lake and is a beautiful location. The breakfast was quite nice and the cafe is lovely. There’s also a nice Italian restaurant nearby that stays open till 10, which is a rarity at this time of the year (Dec). We highly recommend this hotel.

Landhaus Kössel was amazing! The views from the Chalet were astounding. The place itself was extremly clean and the staff was very friendly and highly accommodating. Will definitely be staying here again!

I liked this place except the pillows are very poor. But, that’s just about standard in Europe.

We had never experienced a natural pool and quite enjoyed it. The sauna was a little bit of heaven and the views beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean and very attractive. Close to the attractions.

The view from the room was stunning. The sauna and physiotherm aswell as the free form pool were lovely to come back to after a day walking or cycling

Great place but has a lot of flies and stinky too..

This hotel is adorable!! We arrived after check in closed, but found our key easily that the front desk had given us instructions to find. We had a little trouble finding our room but once we did were in awe of the property and view! It was amazing!!! The breakfast was the best we’ve had at a hotel during our stay, and it was very close to both Füssen and neuschwanstein castle! Only downside was the windows didn’t allow a lot of airflow in, it would have been nice to have a fan to circulate the air. Also the pillows weren’t great and very flat. Otherwise we loved it! We’d definitely stay again!

Location, location, location. I personally lived it. You are close to Fussen but not in the middle of things. It’s 100 yards to an incredible lake with a fascinating view of the Alps. Stay at the lake for sunset. Its worth it.

We stayed in the Chalet with our 2 adult children and enjoyed the extra space. Beautiful views of mountains and with restaurants around lake nearby.

This place was BEAUTIFUL and perfect in every way. The staff there are helpful; some speak English, some only speak German. Be prepared. Breakfast was an extra charge but it was AMAZING. I haven’t had food that fresh and clean in quite some time.

We stayed here for 2 nights in February and had a great stay. We needed to check in after the reception closed as we were travelling from Innsbruck but this was no problem as the keys were kept for us in the key box which we were given the code for. The room was very clean and we had a lovely view of the mountains. There was a lot of choice at breakfast. The hotel is close to the bus stop but we walked into Fussen twice (takes an hour) as it was a beautiful and easy walk. From Fussen you can get the bus to Tegelberg for skiing or to Schwangau for Neauschwanstein castle.

Nice hotel, close to the town centre. Nice view, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Peter, the boss, was friendly. Will go back there again if I travel to that part of the world.

Great view at this property. Nice strong shower. There was a funky smell in the room that we had to air out, bed was not comfortable. Check out was at 11 am and the staff began banging on our door at 10:30 am telling us to check out. This repeated from different staff literally every two minutes until we left. They said they had someone coming earlier than expected for the room — doesn’t matter, we should not have been disturbed until 11 if we were not checked out. Incredibly rude cleaning staff, poor service and zero hospitality.

The motel itself was lovely, set in an old farmhouse. Our bathroom was rather small but functional. The area was amazing with beautiful views!

This hotel was pretty cool. When we checked in at 1800, reception was already closed. It wasnt that big of a deal since the hotel sent us an email with a code to unlock the safe next to the front door where our keys were.Theres 2 guesthouses. We stayed at the back one. Theres an arrow on a wall pointing the way to it. The guesthouses are part of a farm, which I thought was pretty cool. Theres cows and fields all around the hotel.Our room was actually a suite. It had a full kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a couch-bed, and a private deck.The view of the Alps out the window was the best part. Theres also a small playground, a little pond with chairs, and an Irish pub right across the street. Id definitely stay here again.
