Beds were very uncomfortable ,this was due to age and condition of them as they were damaged and very uncomfortable to sleep on

Nice hotel But breakfast was disappointing

The stairwell has fine tobacco spit on the stair carpets. The carpets are filthy. The bed was great, the bathrooms nice and clean, and the parking was great too.

Cleanliness of the room was disappointing. Mattresses were very soft.

We stayed as our son was competing in the taekwondo scottish national championships at the Ravenscraig sports centre. This was literally over the roundabout, about half a mile away, so perfect for our needs. We had clean towels every day except sunday, when there is no cleaning service, which was not a problem. We just asked for more towels at the bar! Restaurant staff were excellent, they were friendly and helpful. Our room (room 101) was lovely and warm, and it was clean and fresh. Plenty of space and on ghe ground floor, which was great with me being disabled and mobility being an issue. Only thing i would suggest, is that as room 101 it is a ground floor and therefore more helpful for disabled guests, it would be preferable to have an actual shower cubicle, rather than a shower over the bath, which i found very difficult, and had i not had my husband with me to help me get in and out, would have been a problem.

Enjoyed the stay very large comfortable beds but the room and corridor walls were needing repainted and carpet had a bad stain. Handy to have the resturant next door and a great wed bus service from outside the hotel.

Basic- nothing memorable

Seamless Check-in, ample parking, front office & pub staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was well-lit & clean, the air-conditioning was super. The full Scottish breakfast was the best! It was a calm and lovely time and a great experience! Thank you 😀

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was clean with all the facilities we needed. We liked that there was a resturant on site and that a copy of the menu was included in the room to use. We would recommned this hotel, and be looking to stay here again ourselves.

It was good

Stayed one night, room was basic, that was expected for the price. Check in - could have been friendlier. No direction or signage to rooms. Was told there is no ‘bar area’ for drinks and all tables were for food and would need to book a table. Found this strange as it’s a pub! Room key had be to attempted 3 times every time it was used, spoke to others guests who said the same. Larger was flat. Starters were ok, chicken was dry and missing the salad garnish that was described on menu. Orders sirloin steak and chicken flatbread for mains. The steak was over cooked and clearly a cheap cook. No steak knife. The chicken kebab was nice but had to have it remade as asked for no sauce and it came with a thick layer. This meant we ate separately as it took 10 mins to remake. Young waitress was nice. Manager was scruffy and unfriendly. Pub was almost empty, but we were TOLD where to sit and not given a choice.

the fact that I got into the rom118 and put the lights on and plunged into darkness,went to look for recepton desk couldnt find it spent half an hour lookin for someone gave up in end and went to bed as i was so dissapointed fine start to married life

very good hotle next to airports

Hotel was not to bad apart from that it was standard, toilet seat in room didn't fit right and was lose so managed asked behind the restaurant about fixing it , they said they would get someone out to fix it, but no one came

The rooms were very clean .The double bed was lovely but the single beds were too hard.

I felt very welcome and safe to stay there as a single person, good facilities and have booked again for my next stay.

Room better than expected, convenient to motorway but really quiet. Cleaning staff do a fantastic job no complaints from us. And bar staff were equally as customer focused, efficient but realy approachable and freindly ...

Pub staff excellent

The hotel was clean and just what you’d expect for what you pay for. I have no complaints, it seemed to be well maintained, the tv was bigger than I’ve experienced in similar hotels which was good and the room was decorated well in comparison to other hotels of this calibre

The room just wasn't the cleanest. The toilet was in need of a very good clean. Unseen unless you sit on the 3rd bed - gross, just gross

Rooms are located across the pub. Convenient location with parking facility and pub for a really good meal. Room was clean and looked really nice. Perfect for what we needed as a family.

The hotel it's self is fine but a little in need of a spruce up rooms a big and beds are comfortable. the concerns are its in the middle of nowhere and so you need to use the attached pub to eat the food portions are terrible and ours came cold we had our money back and had to order in a takeaway

Really poor. Room dirty, breakfast not qorth the effort or cost. Room freezing cold and heating not sufficient to heat the room. Avoid if possible

Very poor breakfast. Hot chocolate machine broken, no dairy free milk options, dirty plates, dry rubbery pancakes

Very friendly staff

Nice quiet area. Good staff and good food. The rooms were good, but the hallways and stairways were beat up, and the carpet was dirty.
