Overall, a great place with convenient downtown location. All of downtown is within walking distance. The location is also surprisingly quiet. The hotel and room were exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was better than most hotels. We never did see evidence of the advertised in hotel restaurant. The only negative aspect was the bed. The mattress was old and sank to the middle. It provided no support.

Great overall stay

The hotel was clean and the staff members were friendly and courteous. This will probably be where I continue to stay on my business trips to Greenville.

We planned to stay for 2 nights because we visited Homes with a Realtor. But we ended up checking out after 1 night because we had a sleepless night after 2 Dogs were barking repeatedly in the rooms next to us. We have Dogs too and we would never leave them alone in a Hotel Room especially until after Midnight and after that. The sofa in the room had stains all over it (we have pictures and post them in the Google review we will write) and smelled like a Dog. We had Dog's in the Breakfast area during our visit and this is just not OK it is a Restaurant and Dogs have no business in that area. I think it is good to have Dog-friendly Hotels but a Hotel should have rooms for that and give non Dog rooms to regular customers. We told the Lady at the reception about the problem but she ignored it and did not even apologize. She worked at the reception on Saturday 08/03/2024 at around 8 am. We stayed at Hyatt's in Europe, USA and Asia but this one here in Greenville was by fare the worst one and should not wear the Name Hyatt.

The oversold the rooms and sent me to a lesser quality hotel. Beware.

Super clean and fancy. But cleaning service only cleaned our room once out of a 6 day stay. Gave us lots of towels and toiletry items. Front desk were excellent and valet parking staff were excellent.

Great central downtown location. Nicely appointed hotel. Very spacious, clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Convenient valet service and nice indoor pool. Only complaint is that floors need a good mopping.

Comfy beds and excellent customer service

My only gripe was the mandatory $25/day valet service. I told them we stayed there 2 years ago and we were allowed to park in the back because we had a handicap placard, but they said they were under a new valet company now. They said it was a valet only hotel, but we had to let the desk clerk know we were using the service. I also saw people leaving through the exit by the fitness room (which was very nice btw) so obviously they were not planning on using the valet. We probably won’t be returning on our 2 day trip next year because of the extra $50 (plus tip) but it is a nice hotel with friendly staff.

Shower wasn't hot also our electronic blinds were broken so you couldn't get them to raise and lower. It appeared this was an ongoing problem by the condition of the controls.

Hotel was clean, quite, and close to the downtown area. Walking distance from most things in the Greenville downtown area. Staff was great!!

Possum hotel for a mini vacation downtown Greenville

Hotel was great, perfect location. Only issue was losing powers for hours on Saturday night. No explanation. Would have been a 5, but with no AC for hours, the room was scorching

Racist comments were made from another guest that was on site..the power was down for a while..one has contacted me back to resolve this terrible experience..

Though the hotel was nice, the lobby was not as tidy as it should have been. Kids left their trash downstairs and nobody bothered to clean it up. Parents should have but since they did not the employees should. Power outage for 3 hours. The did something to reimburse members, but anyone else. I was dissapointed.

They lost power at 10pm in a very hot/ humid city. No AC and no lights. Hotel should have backup system in place. Im sure it happens a lot at this location. Bad managment of how to deal with loss power. Not accecptable!! Fix it now!!!

Convenient location

Rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly and attentive!

Great accommodations !

The property is a bit old but seems to be well maintained. Housekeeping did a good really good job. My only complaint is breakfast is only served until 9:00 am and it’s a very sparse selection

Everything was amazing overall. Putting green was hilariously small and staff wasn’t very pleased to be at work but can’t beat the location

Had an awesome stay for a quick turnaround trip. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. 10 out of 10, highly recommended.
