Lovely stay at this hotel in Gdańsk

Excellent location and quite new and fresh hotel. Cleaning was very good. We were very happy with our stay except one thing. We stayed two adults and a 17 year old who slept in the "bed sofa", the latter was hard as wood, not comfortable.

I liked the ability to walk to the central square in just 5 to 7 minutes.

Nice location. Bad wifi. Very clean. No smiles at at all from the staff.

The parking fee is outrageous (120 PLN per night). Getting in and out of the parking garage is not easy either. Very hard to check in when you get there by car, There is no place to park because of the ongoing construction around the hotel. The location is great, right by the water and walkable to many attractions close by.

Great location! Restaurants and all the attractions of the Old Town are just steps away! We stayed in a suite for 3 nights. It was spacious and comfortable, and had the view of the river and boats shown in the promo picture. This hotel gets extra kudos for having recycle bins all around the property! The sky bar on 7th floor was nice, and the prices in the sky bar and the main restaurant were reasonable, especially considering we were in a major hotel in the heart of a city. We paid extra up front for the included dinners. I would not recommend this for 2 reasons. The selection you are given is small and most of the items are more pub grub-type fare (like caesar salad, pizza with salami or a hamburger). Also, there are so many restaurants along the waterfront that you want to be able to enjoy the energy, ambience and views of this amazing city, instead of being stuck in the same place for all of your dinners. Some of the staff members were aloof and cold, particularly a couple of the young women who served dinner. The hotel held our luggage for us the last day giving us more time to enjoy the sites. One word of caution--located at the end of a dead-end street. Taxis and Ubers have a hard time getting in to and away from the hotel. If using one, you might want to arrange pickup-drop off a block away and walk in/out.

This was a beautifully renovated Holiday Inn in the center of Old Town Gdnask Poland clean and at the end of a street. Great location! My only complaint is there was nowhere to park car during check in which is a bit stressful when in a foreign country.

Great hotel👌

Excellent hotel near to the old town. We asked a room in upper floors, and we got a room from 5th floor with river view. The room was clean and spacious, toilet and shower really good. The room was very quiet. Fantastic breakfast with pretty much anything you can hope for.

The views were amazing. The bar service was sub par.

I would happliy recommend Holliday Inn Pros: Modern hotel. Great location, local amenities, eateries and sites of interest on your doorstep! All accessible on foot. Excellent transport links taxi, bus or train should you be feeling more adventurous and wish to visit places outside of Gdansk. We had a good sized corner room on the 4th floor overlooking the river and mooring facilities for boats. This offered excellent views. Lovely rooftop bar. Cons: There is extensive construction work being undertaken adjacent to the hotel and the historical centre (along the pedestrian river banks) of Gdansk. I would recommend a room on the higher floors as there can be early morning noise intrusion. Breakfast options are okay but I would recommend eating out. We stayed for seven nights. Midweek was great but there was a disappointing noticeable difference in behaviour in the rooftop bar and city centre when large numbers of stag groups fly into town Fri & Sat! Gdansk itself is a beautiful place to visit.

Typical Holiday Inn property. Spacious. Good desk. Comfortable bed. Wi-Fi rather slow. Centrally located. Lots of nearby restaurants. Rather noisy late into the evening because of revellers.

Relatively a new hotel, on the water, nice lobby, nice sky-bar, good location, though a great deal of construction along the street so access not always clear. Not in city center as stated in Expedia's posting. Parking available but ridiculously expensive, compared to Marriott in other larger cities and even more expensive than the Radisson in Warsaw.

Showers are not the best, very uncomfortable, specially for tall people and the design is very uncomfortable.

Hotel maravilhoso

Location and view is fantastic. Our AC didn’t work so room was a bit stuffy. Rooms are small for a family of 4. Appreciated kids being able to eat for free at breakfast. That’s was great!

Grwat location in the heart of the city. Everywhere seems really close to the hotel. Staff are really accomodating and helpful as we had a noise issue with our room. We were moved to another area of the hotel away from the nightclub that was rather loud until 2am. Something to consider if you have a young family and had a room facing the main road. We never ate in the restaurant in the hotel, but it was always busy and staff were on hand when we required soya milk for our room. Wifi was also complimentary and fast for those that require it for work, etc. Overall we were very happy and will rebook here in the future.
