A good facility that met all our needs. Very quiet location

The location very peaceful backing onto the Virginia Lake, could hear a swan or duck! The breakfast supplies were lovely. Just a walking distance roughly 10mins away, from the deer farm. Great having off street parking available. Was lovely to have a chat with the host before leaving :)

It was just as advertised and as pics showed. Bathroom was modern and smart.

Washing our cups and plates in bathroom sink. Duvet cover was torn. The square solid wood bed edges are a real hazard.

The accommodation was very comfortable, spacious, and has an excellent bathroom and good aircon. The breakfast met our needs. Our host referenced the gate in the fence that led to Lake Virginia Park. We walked in the Park. It was delightful. We would be happy to stay there again.

It rained the afternoon we arrived, then was humid and windy. There was no shelter to the entrance. We opened the doors but there were no latches to hold them open so they did not bang.

The location is quiet, and it's nice to be able to access Virginia Lake Reserve from the gate in the back fence. The host supplied detailed check-in instructions.

The accommodation is a studio room on the ground floor of the owner's house. Entry is essentially through the back yard, the same area where the kids play, so don't expect any privacy outside. The room is lacking a comfortable arm chair. There are three small tables, but one is entirely taken up by breakfast supplies, another is largely taken up by the fridge and microwave, and the third has an artificial plant and a tray with water jug and glasses. So there isn't a lot of table space for guests to use. There's no guest compendium - there were a few brochures in a drawer, and the WiFi details were on a Post-It note on the fridge door. The host wasn't able to provide any recommendations for dinner. The bathroom is a decent size, but lacking practical features. There aren't any shelves in the shower, so the body wash and shampoo bottles are on the floor. We were supplied with towels and face cloths, but no hand towels. Parking on the property would be a challenge for larger vehicles. Guests need to park in a location that enables the owners to get their three vehicles in and out. Guests who park on the property also need to be confident reversing up a long driveway.

The lightbulbs in lamp were a bit bright but we brought our book light which was nice and dim. Need to be able to back out of drive/ tighter space but no big deal and parking is conveniently only short walk from the room, all flat, no stairs Minimal sound of walking upstairs but only on one occasion!
