The owner/host was wonderful, very kind gentleman and nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect and the home warm and cozy.

The oven was difficult to operate as the settings on the dials were worn away, but apart from that I couldn’t find fault.

Lovely clean accommodation, nice touches such a milk, wine and biscuits left by the host, selection of games which we enjoyed.

No oven instructions which was tricky but that’s the only negative

Lovely location and super helpful hosts. Very comfortable. The garden was a lifesaver in the heatwave.

The cooker was a bit of a struggle to use as all the markings had rubbed off so it was hit and miss on occasion.

Very peaceful stay . Lovey base to go off & explore.

The location was lovely but visitors arriving in the dark may benefit from clearer directions eg. What 3 words

We had not realised it was co-joined with doors that went into next door We had to ask for more towels even though it could sleep four and we had to keep leaving notes as they didn’t open the door Light on glasses, baking trays etc The double bed creaked if you moved On a positive biscuits and wine was a nice gesture

There was no signage outside the property, we ordered a takeaway and the delivery driver had trouble finding us.

Cottage was spotless and had every amenity we could have wanted, Hosts were very welcoming and lovely and key collection was easy. Location was very secluded and close to Paultons Park and the New Forest. Beautiful large garden and if it hadnt been solc old kids would have happily played outside. Extras were kindly provided on arrival such as milk, sugar, teabags, biscuits and a bottle of wine!) Two very small gripes ( if I had to be picky) - sofas were very small and shallow which was fine for me as I am only small but my husband being 6 ft was a little less comfortable. Also there was a reisdent cat at the main house who constantly wanted to gain access to our cottage (not a problem if you don't have a fear like I do so just to make people aware) but even the kids began to get a little afraid as the cat would approach the car when we pulled up each day and would sometimes wait at our cottage door.
