Not impressed for the price. Showers should be upgraded to walk in. The tubs are higher than normal and made it a little harder to get in. Beds were comfortable; however, the beds moved a lot. Could hear the springs when getting in and out of the beds. Breakfast was less than average. Sausage links were overcooked, egg white vegetable omelettes tasted like bell peppers. Not worth the $199 per night.

Super clean!!! Made me so happy! Everything smelled so good and the dining area was exceptionally clean as well. Nice young man at the front desk had to change out our lock at 2:30 am and he was so accommodating

Great location for our family weekend of hiking in Crested Butte. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that the room smelled bad! Like some kind of weird cleaner. Otherwise, great stay!

Enjoyed our stay in Gunnison, and it was nice to see that welcoming sign after a hard day of driving through the mountains. Breakfast was fine, the bed and room were fine.

Overall stay was very good. Bathroom door in our room did not lock or latch, and the sink looked to have been cracked and repaired, still functional but appearance was not the best. Plenty of wall outlets and usb plugs was an absolute plus. Checkin had a bit of a wait but not too bad, checkout was easy.

It's a beautiful place, and well maintained. But I didn't see anything in the room and it wasn't very obvious anywhere else why it might have been ecological. I didn't see recycling in the room or in the breakfast area.
And there is absolutely no soundproofing between rooms. On the second floor we could hear conversations that were taking place in the indoor swimming pool, with our doors and windows closed as well as the TV on either side of us. As well as people in the hallway. It seems they built the walls of the cheapest materials available despite living in one of the coldest climates in the country. Is that ecological? There are certainly wasn't very much buffering between the walls of the rooms and the hallway. I'm hoping the walls to the outside were better insulated

We have stayed here multiple times and it has always been one of the best places in town. Everything was great on our last trip, however, the were a couple parts of the back sidewalk that had really thick ice. Unfortuntlately, somehow i slipped on the second patch and hit the ground hard. Keep in mind the is a very cold town, but there was not any weather during our stay and i think somone could have been more proactive to keep the sidewalks safe.

I've been staying at this hotel 3 - 5 nights/year for a few years. It's still a nice enough hotel in good shape. It's convenient to US 50 and within walking distance of downtown. The university is next door. Ask for a 3rd floor room or you'll be listening to the folks above you stomp around and flush the toilet. The breakfast is good, not great. It is pricey for a basic chain hotel. I find myself wishing for a nicer hotel at that price, but Gunnison is pretty limited in terms of nicer lodging opportunities.

Great stay at the Holiday Inn Gunnison. Close to Western University campus and McDonalds/Arbys. Give the Museum across the highway a look, so much to see and do. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

I was in room 240. It smelled like food when I checked in. I open the window, turned on the bathroom fan and turned on the wall unit cooler to air it out
At 5AM I woke to the room filled with the smell of cooking sausage and eggs. It was disgusting.
