It was relaxing place to stay, very peaceful. Kids had a great time in the private pool. Close proximity to Kuranda.

The unit was large and well laid out, private pool was a big plus.

I was insulted .. no host on arrival .. waited half an hour before he appeared ... when I expressed disappointment re the above he released me from liability ... but then I asked to see the villa as it was too late in day .. he refused me access ... it took me 3 hours to find any place that night ... hotels.com did zero to help .. I held on for 45 minutes on phone to hotels.com , at least talking to 3 different call centres having been disconnected each time ... the Villas and host along with hotels.com is crapp ... rating zero out of 10 .. I will never use hotels.com again

Ideally situated midway between Cairns and Port Douglas. Quiet and well equippe.

We had a great stay. The villa was well kitted out with a full kitchen, laundry and private pool. The location was fantastic with most services near by

Location was great, not far from restaurants and the beach. Loved the private pool. Air conditioning in the bedroom was a plus. We only stayed a few days but could have stayed much longer comfortably with no issues! Enjoyed our stay!

Their review is specific to unit 36. The unit presented nothing like the photographs online. With a premium price tag for a location 15 mins walk to palm cove, versus on beach apartments for the same money; it’s safe to say upon checking in that we were very disappointed with the 1980’s apartment which has clearly never had an update or even general maintenance carried out. Broken doors, screwed back together, cracked walls and a main bedroom that looks like an early 90’s adult film set. Upon contacting the reception to make a complaint we were given the response of “we’ve been trying to get the owners to update it for some time, we will pass on your feedback”. All well and good, but when you’re aware the villas is sub par, why continue to rent it out? We have friends staying in another villa which presented exactly like the photos and was quite welcoming. On a positive note, the pool area, and bbq ammenities were great and we found ourselves spending out time there instead. Location to palm cove is walking distance and has a great selection of cafes and restaurants. Not noted on details provided is that check in is only Monday-Friday, and Saturday until lunch time. outside of that you’ll need to organise keys to be left. For the money, I believe there’s many more modern and clean options available.

Relaxing. Clean appartment and comfy bed. Loved having our own pool.

We have stayed in Palm Cove multiple times and this was our first experience at The Villas. We found the location to be within walking distance to the esplanade. The accommodation was great and the benefit of having our own pool was perfect.

Great self contained villa with washing machine, dryer, full kitchen. There is no servicing except sheet change half way through so be prepared to clean up after yourself. You also need to supply your own bin liners, dishwasher powder, laundry powder, toilet paper. We had an oasis villa with a private pool which was great. Close to the main highway, some traffic noise depending where your villa is. Walking distance to the beach. 5min drive to Clifton Village Shopping Centre with takeaways, supermarket etc

This particular villa had its private pool. It also had its own garage, two washrooms, washer and dryer, full kitchen with oven and dishwasher, dining table for 6 etc Beautiful and secluded yard with tropical trees and plants. It all made for an extraordinary experience.

We had a fab week as a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids. The villa had everything we wanted with a well furnished kitchen and comfy bedrooms and living area (though a chest of drawers in the bedroom would have helped a bit with storage of clothes we couldn't hang up). The place was clean and homely and situated by the main road and close to the shopping centre for groceries etc. Tracy at reception was super helpful, proactive, engaging and genuinely interested in assisting us with things to do. She also loaned us an esky for our days trips to different places.

Very happy with our 2 night stay here over NY. Everything was advertised and it really is only a short walk to the esplanade.

Lovely room with a private pool, though it wasn't warm enough to swim much. The location was ok though the noise from the highway was very noticeable when you have the doors open or are in the pool area. Overall was a good stay and would recommend, especially if you can get a room away from the freeway. Also would be good if they recycled, instead of it all going in the bin.

We were a family of 10 including 2 toddlers, the 4 bedroom villa was very comfortablem, clean and conveintly stocked with all the appliances and facilities we needed. The private pool in our villa was used very well and the friendly staff came to check up on us frequently.
