We had lunch before check-in and enjoyed the roast dinner, especially the vegetables and the service. My dessert was forgotten. We checked in and found the room clean but no bedside lamps. The room was very hot, a staffer came up but the windows wouldn't open and there is no heat control in the room, so she brought us two fans. It was quite a long night with the traffic noise, fan noise and the warm room. Would not stay here again.

Efficient, clean, helpful.

We stayed for one night business trip in December. Parking was good and the thai food was delicious. My only issues are the service charge they put on top of the bill at payment stage and My room was really too hot even though the radiator wasnt on . But overall would stay again

We stayed for 3 nights as we were visiting Longleat safari park. Only a few minutes drive away . The Thai food was very good and we made some new friends. The staff were very good and welcoming.

Pleasant stay

Lovely old building, room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom could do with a refurb, grouting was mouldy but overall a lovely stay.

Beautiful facilities, friendly staff. Shame staff shortages meant the bar was closed and so was the restaurant. In room amenities, tea and coffee were fantastic... Would stay again when visiting mum and dad...

This is a traditional old pub/hotel which is great. The rooms are a little dated, but clean, and it is good to be somewhere that is individual. Bed was comfortable, bathroom functional, staff friendly. One thing which would be good would be if it was made clear that the kitchen is not open on a Monday. Fortunately, there is a pub across the road that does food!

Liked the oldness of it locations for longleat

Fantastic place to stay. Sam is a wonderful manager treating both guests and staff with such respect. The food was to a great standard and nothing was too big a deal. Will definitely return

The hotel sits right on the high street and we had a room facing the road. Unfortunately the road is very busy and the noise continues through the night which made the room far from peaceful. There was even a delivery truck unloading at half past midnight, and the hotel is opposite a Wetherspoon's so one can imagine the noise. The room had secondary double glazing which had little effect. When we asked for an alternative room we were offered one for an additional charge, so a peaceful night's sleep is apparently an optional extra. We were also there during a heatwave and the room had no aircon and no fan. Finally, the TV was essentially unusable because the signal was so poor, and the shower was a sea of mould.

Very nice hotel very helpful staff when we arrived and in the evening . But breakfast staff were miserable one staff member was behind the bar eating breakfast whilst working . And another seemed very tied and wasn’t happy . Food was cold . Might stay again if I couldn’t find Anything else

Charming old inn in the last stages of renovation. Comfy rooms, good food in the pub (including Thai for dinner!) Staff is wonderful! Had a very pleasant stay.

Friendly staff and comfortable if slightly dated accommodation. Excellent breakfast and comprehensive affordable menu for other meals. Car parking not as suggested, the park is used by many others and not only residents. Unable to connect to the hotel intranet despite help from the manager. A friendly and inexpensive place to stay in Warminster that offers a welcome.

Great hotel... Lovely staff who all went the extra mile and we're great with our allergies.

Everything you need, very impressed with the room

Our roomwas at the front of the hotel. The room itself was lovely. Beds comfortable. Bathroom bit tired with discoloured grouting. The only problem was the noise and music from The Anchor opposite which could be hesrd thumping away to the early hours.cant beleive they get away with the music being so very loud. Hard to sleep.

Perfectly suited my needs as an overnight stop. Staff friendly and helpful, facilities just what was required.

One night. Handy for work. Whole place a bit tired comfortable for one night. Although booked in for two had to ask for a second set of towels. Breakfast was basic but very good

Window was left open by cleaner and was very hard to close but apart from this it was a very nice place to stay.

The room is in a character property (beams and crystal maze like layout), and the rooms are still maintained to a good standard. Breakfast was good.

It is in the town centre within walking distance of facilities and with handy car park. Bus stop outside door and railway station less than 10 min walk away. Only downside this time was the noisy altercation between customers in the bar after I had gone to bed.

Amazing place. To say the accommodation is attached to a pub, couldn’t hear a single thing from the crowds. Nice room, ablutions, food and reception, however booking into the room at first was confusing as you need to enter the pub (very difficult if you have lots of large bags). Lastly, iron and ironing board. It’s great having the option however semi broken iron, dirty and damaged ironing board + cover left for a stain on my shirt when steam was applied.

Basic, but good value for the price. Had to ask for tea and milk to be replenished in room
