We enjoyed our stay here. It met our expectations. Great location, friendly staff, parking on site.

The staff were wonderful and so helpful, but the room had so many problems. The extractor fan in the toilet would not work, the air conditioning/heating would not turn on, the WiFi kept on dropping out and finally the electrical socket was hanging out of the wall. Unfortunately nothing seemed to be able to be done to rectify situation. Hopefully the hotel can correct this situation shortly, along with the breakfast cooked menu being left to go cold and not replaced when asked for fresh.

As you can see from the ratings, we were pleased with our stay. Housekeeping needs to be more attentive as there was a bedside light broken and being Sunday impossible to replace!! The restaurant and dinner was good but we felt rushed.....do not serve the enrtee when the diners are stiil enjoying their Apperos. We we there for a nice relaxed evening...not the staff's fault but their their training. Thank you.

My first trip to France and whilst i do not speak the language i was taken care of remarkably well and handled with patience when translations were needed.

We were surprised by the quality of this hotel and its value for money. On arrival we drove straight into its secure underground car park with direct access to the reception area above. Checkin was very efficient and friendly, offered in French and fluent English. Service throughout was very good, our room spacious, quiet, comfortable and well-designed with an excellent walk-in shower. The restaurant was equally good with a clear menu (in French only, surprisingly, but help on hand) very attentive waiting staff, reasonable range of choices including an inexpensive, fixed-price daily menu and nice choice of wines. Breakfast was the best we have experienced for some time in a mid-price hotel: hot and cold options well made and well presented. Overall, highly recommended, especially as it is just a few minutes from the motorway. The quality of this hotel more than compensates for its rather disappointing surroundings but for a stopover it is hard to beat.

At Mercure we expect a certain level equivalent to a 4* hotel. This one fell well below that - small room, uncomfortable basic furniture, no fridge, no tea/ coffee making equipment, no luggage holder etc. Very much Formule Un standard with shower room. Disappointing stay.

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel in the heart of the Beaujolais region. Also as a bonus it has a superb restaurant.

Great hotel, looks new with tasteful amenities and excellent service. The food, from breakfast to lunch ‘snacks’ is worth stopping by even if you don’t stay at the hotel. What a nice crew and unbeatable food quality for the price. This hotel made me rethink the image I had of the Mercure brand. Superb experience

Great hotel, great service, all fantastic but difficult to stop the car and unload the luggage as there is no parking bay for the hotel. Now that I know, understand that there is a parking lot next to it so would stop there and call reception to see if they would open the gates for me....apart from that, all great.

Had 5 nights here, good location a few mins walk from the town centre & the train station. Overall very happy with the trip. Breakfast is massively overpriced at 15 Euro per person per day.

A bit expensive for the quality of the hotel. No tea or coffee facilities. Overcharged for the parking.

The food was amazing especially the dessert. Room was nice and clear and bed very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was a one night stop over on the way through France for a skiing holiday. The hotel was very nice and the junior suite worked fine with effectively 2 separate rooms. The menu for the restaurant looked lovely but did not really appeal to the children but we found other restaurants nearby. Breakfast was again probably aimed at older palettes but the children were half price and still found enough food to eat to keep them going. Over all a good hotel though the decor may not appeal to everyone.
