Close proximity to city centre. Easily accessible. Room was equipped with TV, refrigerator, washing machine, gas stove, iron, hair dryer, jacuzzi. We stayed in Apartment No 2. It has a 2 bunk beds in separate room and a master bedroom. Mr. Erken speaks English and can help you out if you have any questions.

Great location, two separate rooms and a full working kitchen. Great owner too, very accomodating. You won't find anything remotely close to this by cost/quality.

The hair dryer provided had a weak air flow and dried hair very slowly. Not a lot of outlets in the kitchen: had a bit of trouble charging notebook while working. All manageable, though.

This property has a great host, Erken was always available and met us at the airport so finding the property and getting the keys was effortless. The property had a great price/ value ratio and it was in a walking distance to may great food places.

One of the bedrooms didn't have a window, making it difficult to ventilate and the rooms are rather spartan, though nonetheless everything necessary was there

I cannot think of anything that I liked about this property apart from location.

The property was not as advertised and totally misrepresented. It was on the third floor and the owner simply omitted this fact on the website. A person with a mobility issue would not be able to climb the stairs. We had an elderly woman with us with a mobility issue. When pointed out this fact to the owner at the time of check in, he started to shout at us claiming that it was our problem and when we wanted to reason with him about cancelling the booking he threatened us with the police and taking the entire booking price. The owner was generally rude, intimidating, sarcastic and completely inadequate. The flat is tiny and claustrophobic, no doors between rooms, overall dated and dirty. Kitchen utilities, utensils and electric appliances were dirty with burned fat and other unknown substances on the surface which we did not want to touch fearing to catch germs. Even a sponge was dirty which we asked to remove. The kitchen sink was blocked, toaster did not work. The washing machine was filthy and smelly. no one in their right mind would touch let alone wash clothes in it. The shower booth was tiny and we could bearly squeezed ourselves in it. Beds (one bed and a sofa) were hard and uncomfortable, which was a torcher to sleep on. Bedding (blankets, linen and duvets) did not seem clean, we’re dated and of grey colour. Blankets were dirty, smelly and with holes. One set of towels were so dirty and old we used it as a bathroom mat.

Great location close to the city center, made it super easy to walk to all the major sights in Almaty. Also kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to cook food. Group of 4, comfortable and spacious for us.
