A very authentic stay in a local neighbourhood with amazing hosts. Cleveland took us out dancing and to the Rio Grande for rafting-such a fun,great guy we learnt so much about Jamaica from him. The house is so close to Winifred beach which is public and unspoilt-the walk through the rainforest to get there was magical.

Been to Port Antonio more than 5 times, love it PA!! Good location for beaches!! Rocky's chicken restaurant had great food, there's a produce stand at the end of the road to buy items to cook! The host offered ackee from the trees in the backyard which we had for breakfast about 4 times! Also coc

I booked a two bedroom apartment!! They don't even have one!! They have two "one bedroom" units! Upon arrival, the first thing the host said was, you only booked for one person.... because they knew I booked a two bedroom apartment, and the price was for that! Though they had an empty unit next door, they did not offer it to me! I had a guest with me, who needed to have a bed! They insisted on charging me more money than what the booking com total was because I had another person with me, even though I booked a two bedroom apartment, but that wasn't what I got!! So now I have a one bedroom, and they still want more money!! The woman I spoke to was rude and refused to even hear me out, she just yelled, "you can just go and find another place to stay!" WOW!! I just hung up the phone, and didn't even bother to go any further. They had communicated with me about 3 weeks to a month prior to my arrival, asking if I was still coming. they knew at that time, that I had a booked a two bedroom apartment, but never said they didn't have one!! Neither did they ask how many people were coming...their plan is to let you arrive and then find out they don't have a two bedroom and blame you, and mess up your vacation. They won't apologize either, very nasty lady!!!
