I loved my stay at Apollo Bay Backpackers. The owner was very friendly and had great suggestions for things to do and places to eat in Apollo Bay. He even joined us for a beer in the common area one night. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfy. The washrooms are very clean and modern. The kitchen facilities are maintained and well-stocked, and I like that there is a BBQ on site as well. Really fantastic hostel in a quiet location.
There is only one electrical outlet in some of the hostel rooms.

pas de lumière individuelle à chaque lit, peu de prises électriques dans la chambre, une seule table de 5 personnes pour manger à l'intérieur, le dortoir où nous étions juste à côté de la cuisine donc bruyant.

The hostel is small & basic, but clean and has everything you'd need for a short stop over in Apollo Bay. The manager is really friendly & gives lots of tips on places to visit during your stay & continuing along the Great Ocean Road.
Needs some minor maintenance work, but to be expected as they'd only recently reopened after covid.

Quinn was very helpful and super friendly we were all chatting away for hours and he was giving us usefull advice. He clearly cares about the cleanliness and upkeep of the hostel. Just under a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Would recommend to anyone visiting apollo bay.
