We had a great time at groovy! A great place to catch up with old friends. We absolutely loved the mid-century modern decor. This took us back in time, and we had fun discussing each piece. Even though we traveled back in time, we enjoyed the modern conveniences. We spent time at Little River Canyon. First we went to the falls overlook and took pictures. Then, we went across the street and swam at the Blue Hole. It was perfect. We drove over to Mentone and had lunch at Seabolt’s Food Truck and shopped at the Moonlake Trading Company. Highly recommend the street tacos and Mexican street corn in a cup! After lunch we went over to Desoto Falls. It’s such a beautiful place. We spent the afternoon swimming in the little beach area. Our last day we had breakfast at The Hatter Cafe. The food and teas were amazing. We felt like we were in Alice’s Wonderland. What a great pace for a tea party! Thank you for the free Hatter coupons. We will definitely go back. The host was amazing. She was very helpful and thought of everything. The Gobena coffee and the goat’s milk soap we such great touches. It’s wonderful that you donate proceeds to The Arc of Dekalb County. ❤️ Thank you. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The space was well decorated, and we had everything we needed. Communication was top notch, and the check in/out easy. Also love that they donate a percentage to a locale group. Will definitely visit again!

Angie and Jason have done a fabulous job of decorating the apartment and it is super clean. Communication was great and they shared several suggestions on local sites and restaurants.

The hosts thought of everything and even above and beyond. Location was perfect for visiting cloudland canyon state park and little river canyon National preserve. I would highly recommend visiting both of those locations and also desoto falls park which was close by. The house was the best of both worlds being reminiscent of the past and yet modern and super up to date amenities. Very well done!

The house had everything we needed for a weekend getaway, everything was spotless and as described in the listing. We stayed with two adults, one teenager, a 5-year-old and an infant had more than enough room. It was close enough to downtown that we all walked down there one evening and stumbled across a classic car show with street food and toys/games for the kids, it was great. The hosts were easy to reach and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend!

What a delightful little getaway!! We enjoyed our time here so much. The love is in the details; they even had sugar and creamer to go with the delicious coffee, and left a little chocolate cake for my birthday. Super comfortable beds, fluffy towels, and decorated in a simply groovetastic way (I really wanted to bring home some of that furniture!!). Minutes from Fort Payne and has everything you need for a relaxing, fun time! Thank you so much for the memories!

I can’t say enough about this place. We had a minor issue when we got there and the homeowners were there within an hour to resolve it. The place was so cute and so comfortable. It was themed and had all the coolest things about fort Payne highlighted in pictures. Everything we needed was there. It was fully stocked with plenty of items and towels. To top it all off, the last couple days my fiancé and I got strep. They reached out and asked if we needed anything because I had to book another night since we weren’t feeling well. I said we were okay and had everything we needed. A couple hours later we heard a knock on the door. They brought us soup, crackers, and sprite. I was so surprised! They took southern hospitality to a new level. There is not enough thank yous in the world. For someone you just met to show up and bring you soup and groceries to make you feel better is just something you don’t find anywhere else. I would stay here again 100 percent. I am so thankful for these people and the house felt like home. If you are in fort Payne you have to stay here!!!

The loft was perfect for the 3 of us to have our girls trip! We came to the area to visit friends and the loft was the perfect size and location! We enjoyed being close to town and a quick drive to the falls. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the white noise machine drowned out the roosters and the trains, so it was the perfect night’s sleep. The towels were fluffy and perfect, the furniture was all comfortable, and all of the appliances worked great! The recommended tea shop for breakfast was fantastic! We will definitely be back to the loft for our next girl’s trip!
