The bathroom

When we booked it was described as historic inn with bar, lounge, restaurant. Full service hotel. When we arrived it had been converted to an Airbnb, the bar and restaurant is closed for refurbishment though we saw no evidence of any work. No breakfast, not even an ice machine, I walked next door to the pizza place for ice. No in room fridge. There are two part-time staff and access is with a door code that on morning two did not work though fortunately my wife was in the room and came down to let me in. You did not update my booking with this information. I expect a substantial refund as the product was not delivered as advertised it booked by Booking.com. We do not stay in Airbnb, ever. There is a reason, this stay is one of them. ~£

Gorgeous property and incredible location

We did not interact with or even see a single staff member the entire stay. It would have been nice to know there was someone there who could answer questions if we needed them. Also would have been nice to put coffee out in the morning.

Still under construction so that impacted it. Preferred when there was staff. To impersonal and has lost some of its charm.

there is nobody on site to help. The code was in correct, so we had to wait for someone to arrive. the heat didn’t work, there was nobody to help and I got a message the following morning. There is a Keurig with coffee, but no creamer, sugar or stirrers. Normally you would just go and ask at reception for these things. But you can’t, because there is nobody there. we have stayed here at least 3 x before and never been as dissatisfied.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Im glad the locks worked. The room was great..the otherwise empty building was strange.

I didnt see any other guests or staff. Unoccupied rooms were left open and unlocked. No lights on the back of property at night. I did not see anyone on the property during my stay..keypads for entry dont guarantee a locked door. Felt like i took a dare to stay in an empty hotel.

When the 1st room didn't have 2 nightstands, we were moved to a suite at no extra charge. The bed was very comfortable. The lobby was festive in appearance. The staff was helpful. Location couldn't have been more convenient to our walk to our restaurant choice and shopping.

There was a shabbiness to the sofa, furniture in our suite. The shower head didn't have sufficient flow. Outdated lighting made the sitting room dark in our suite. With the bar and restaurant closed, we were not able to have an after dinner drink. It was obviously in need of an upgrade in the kitchen, dining room.

Comfortable bed, great location, cable TV

Didn't get the room we booked, it was our wedding night, we booked a king and got two queens. Reception said there was a "glitch". The rate included breakfast however there was no breakfast and 10am when we came down stairs and it sounded like it was only pastries and coffee. There was very minimal products in the bathroom, no shower cap. Felt like it was a bit expensive for what it was.

The front desk staff are always so welcoming and nice! The room was clean and comfortable.

I've stayed at the jefferson several time over the past 7 years. love the location and the staff but it seems the new booking system need works.

booking online wasn't easy to find location and pricing so I ended up using a third party. my mother even tried to stay with you guys a few day earlier but couldn't get it to work. When she called in to book she was told its online only. Also our room was very hot 77 but didn't realize it until the middle of the night. Lucky there was a fan in the room.
