Quiet cabin away from town

Great getaway

It’s a beautiful area, & the cabin is cute. But be prepared as it is a long ways from town. Make sure to bring all your food & cooking needs! Lake is real pretty, but was disappointed some areas were closed off. Other than that is was cozy.

Comfortable for 2 people, nice porch. Had trouble getting our bass boat in and out of the driveway. Boat ramp near cabin was closed unfortunately. Luckily there was another boat ramp about 5 minutes away. Will definitely rent again. Cabin was clean, enjoyed our stay!!

We really enjoyed this property - perfect size and location. Nice area to walk and close to the marina!

This cabin is not boat friendly, lots of ants in kitchen area. The bed was hard as a rock. A/c was cold but noisy.

The cabin is fairly new so it is still in good condition. Communication was easy and responsive. The only thing I would say is there are multiple cabins in very close proximity, so be aware that you will hear every other site at night as the hang out and talk and stay up all night. Also, yes this is on the lake but no way to get to water, steep drop off. Also, the near by swim area is under construction so no access. There is a food truck on site ran by safe harbor. Highly recommend eating there on a sat if you can, we’ll worth it. The seafood was amazing as is the friendliest staff. Don’t let it being a good truck discourage you. A must see is the dam in the early morning, peaceful and breathtaking. Be aware of these huge flying killer wasps, they were on a mission to get me. Have to love nature.

The outside trash cans were not covered and the crows created a mess every time trash was deposited. I spoke to the property manager and the trash was picked up later that day. I made it a point to take my trash to the dumpster located in the campgrounds to keep the crows from getting into it.

The tiny house was very clean and the AC was great. I really enjoyed how quite the property was and how close to the lake and wildlife I was. I will for sure stay again.

What a cute little cottage! Fully stocked kitchen - and nice supply of bath towels, etc. I would give it a 5 STAR, but our floors were not clean - and we didn't have water for 12 hours.

We had a great time here! All of the staff were great and everything was very clean. We look forward to coming back next year!

Such a clean, quiet place. Much needed after tax season. The pictures are a true depiction of the property. As a note, there is a food truck and that’s the only place to get food. We got the catfish basket, and it was wonderful!! But we did wish we had taken groceries. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Definitely going back!

We stayed for just 6 nights and only used the cabin to sleep, spending all of our time with friends who were camping in the Lake Oauchita SP. it was comfortable for the two of us and our two small dogs. Overall, it had what we needed, but may have fell short if we were exclusively using it during the trip. A couple of short comings; while overall it was clean, there were some pretty dirty spots in corners, example shower enclosure. The hidden doors to the bath were difficult, like they haven’t been maintained and had a horrible handle/latch. The kitchen had all the small appliances and serve ware you need , but short on towels and didn’t have any measuring tools if you needed them for cooking.

Great cottage on a quiet arm of Lake Ouachita. Private location, tucked in the trees, clean, comfortable...limited groceries nearby. Suggest bringing groceries etc. with you.

Me and my wife stayed in the tiny home cabin rental for a weekend in the woods. Beautiful view, very peaceful and a short drive to Hot Springs. Management was amazing. We would definitely stay there again.
