Our 3 grown sons and their families (4 super grandkids!) joined my husband and I to celebrate a special birthday for my husband. This property was exactly as advertised - the views are stunning, the home is spacious and Christina, the host made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the week. I highly recommend this property for large families or multiple friends. Christina is the most responsive host I have ever worked with. All 12 of us loved our stay and would gladly return.

Luxury Mountaintop Cabin was utterly perfect for our family. The views were more beautiful than any picture can show. Every part of the house was geared to comfort and fun! Christine could not have been more gracious to our family when we had car problems and other issues.

We had a 5+ star experience with this incredible home and the host. We were grandparents traveling with two of our adult children and their families. It was obvious that this is someone’s beloved second home by the high end furnishings and all of the great little touches that made the stay truly unique. Home highlights were the stunning view, the three levels giving each family space and privacy, and the outdoor amenities including a hot tub, water feature, fire ring and plenty of seating, including a kids picnic table. The host provided a very informative guest book ahead of time, so we walked in knowing what to expect. The host was very prompt in answering texts when we had questions. Having passes to the nearby Rumbling Bald Resort gave us easy access to a nice beach, pools and mini golf. We stayed 4 nights and felt like we were leaving too soon. Don’t hesitate to nail down this property if it is available to you.

What a fantastic home!! The view of the lake and mountains alone is worth it. But the house offers so much more — all the amenities and indoor and outdoor spaces to make it a perfect spot for a family or group vacation. Host is amazing too — incredibly friendly and great communication. Don’t hesitate to book this one. You won’t regret it!

My siblings and parents try to do a large, all-family trip every four years and as our family grows, it becomes more challenging finding a house to accommodate 12 of us. Five kids and seven adults. This house was perfect and gave us all space to spread out when we needed to but also gather together. I have stayed at my fair share of vacation rentals and I have to say, hands down, this was the best-equipped house. Any kitchen utensil you could need, they had. Plenty of extra blankets and linens, board games for entertainment, scavenger hunts for the kids, a visitors guide which outlined everything perfectly was on hand. The house was perfectly labeled so you knew what light switch controlled each room and light fixture, instructions on how to use certain appliances, and even steps were labeled if it was slightly taller than the other steps on the deck. The owner was so incredibly responsive and helpful and was available if we needed anything throughout our stay. This was our first time staying this part of North Carolina and having access to Rumbling Bald Resort was a priority for us. The staff at the resort were welcoming and helpful. Lastly, the pictures don’t do the view justice. It was simply beautiful and I kept saying how incredibly it would be to visit in the fall and I would love to do a girls trip in the future! This property was amazing. We had multiple families and kids of several different ages. The house provided enough unique gathering spaces to accommodate all of our needs. Christina was very responsive and eased any points of friction with professional instructional documents and videos.

This beautiful mountain lodge has everything you need for the perfect family getaway! Nice and spacious so everyone has their own space. Cozy fireplace, great kitchen, comfy beds, a hot tub with amazing views, plenty of outdoor spaces and lots of parking. Christina is wonderful to work with! 10 out of 10 would recommend. We will definitely be back.
