My husband and I needed a quiet place to rest and unwind before we jumped back into our daily school schedules.
This property was perfect. It is very clean, bright, well-decorated, and uncluttered. We enjoyed our time relaxing on the deck in the early morning watching the geese and deer as they moved through the large backyard. Our time during the day and evening was spent kayaking and fishing.
The king-size bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well organized.
The hospitality and communication of our host Peggy were truly exceptional. We will keep this property in our favorites and hopefully return with the grandkids. They would absolutely love it here.

I took my boys on one last trip for the summer, what a great time. Everything in the house was updated and so comfortable. The view off the back porch is great and we had so much fun playing in the water and fishing. We will be back. House is perfect for a young family.

We loved our time in Kingsland! The beach was great for swimming, using the kayaks, throwing the footballs, and just relaxing! The house is well equipped with everything you might need! Plenty of space and would highly recommend for families!

Our family had a great stay! We enjoyed the beach, used the kayaks to explore the river, and the gentle slope into the water was perfect for swimming and floating. The yard was well maintained and the house was very clean and organized inside. The Owner and property manager were very responsive to our questions. Overall, a great experience and we look forward to coming back.

Great location owned by great family. We had great sun sets, caught some fish and the water was great to relax in. Super spot. Will be back soon.

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean. Very organized. We put our canopy up right next to the lake. Spent our days playing in the water with our kids. My littles enjoyed playing in the sand with their sand toys. Outside bathroom was super convenient for showering after getting out of lake. Full kitchen was super nice. We cooked every meal at home. My little girl forgot her tablet, the house keeper found it and they shipped it to us. We will definitely be coming back for a second stay. Beautiful wonderful family vacation.

It was our second time in this home and we loved it even more than the first time. We took our 4 year old son who absolutely loved the location of being right on the river. We created memories here that will last us a lifetime.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is newly remodeled and has all of the amenities we needed. Being right on the lake we spent a lot of time on the beach in front of the house and had a great time taking the kayaks out exploring, looking for turtles, and fishing.

Really enjoyed our stay. It was a working vacation for me but the wife was visiting family. I had a nice view of the water and enjoyed watching the birds and deer. Spacious, clean, nice shower.

We really enjoyed staying here, like the others have said- pics don’t do it justice. Extremely clean! Would stay again, I was worried it was too far from town and all the lake action but it’s the best swimming area around! Even caught catfish using dead shrimp!

The house is in a wonderful area of the lake with a sandy bottom.The house has been renovated nicely and was very clean and ready for us. Even though there is only one bathroom inside the house, there is a second air conditioned bathroom just outside off the back porch. We had a great time! This summer's heat has been brutal, so we took 3 beach umbrellas and used the home owner's additional umbrella for shade by the water's edge. Being in the water was the only real way to beat the heat.

Beautiful, comfy & cozy, modern home. Fabulous beach access, we were able to pull our pontoon boat near beach and anchor. We were also able to take a quick ride by both car and boat for lunch and dinners to a couple restaurants on the water.
Kiddos and adults had a blast!!!
Property manager was very responsive when we had a question.
Will definitely go again!!

The property is cute with all of the amenities one would expect to find in a house rental. The beach was clean and quiet. The husband and I enjoyed sitting on the back deck looking at the scenery. Packsaddle in the background and the lake just below us was amazing. We were able to launch our kayaks from the beach and cruise the lake without issue. We set our canopy up on the beach and had a little picnic, just a wonderful trip overall. Loved it!!!

What a gem this home is. Perfect location and a beautiful property. The dining room with lake view and deck were our favorite and where we spent most of our time. The beach area was perfect for our 3 yr old grandson!! Can’t wait to book this property again!!

We have stayed in a lot of VRBO properties in the past 10+ years and my husband and I both thought this was one of the best. Everything was spotless upon arrival and completely as advertised. The only thing I can say is, the pictures don't do it justice! The view was AMAZING and the house, while older, was very nicely renovated and exceeded our expectations. Peggy was very prompt in answering questions and so was Bernard. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! The neighborhood was very quiet and that was a big plus for us. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Kingsland, if it is available. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

What a wonderful experience! Everything was so new and clean in the home, and the property was the best of both worlds- beach and freshwater! The check out process was so easy, and the homeowners have thought of absolutely everything! We’ll be back for sure!
