This is a fantastic property. From proximity to the beach and convenience to restaurants and stores, to the pool and attention to detail from Stacy it made our vacation one of a kind.

I have been coming to the Crystal Coast with my family for 7 years now; we have stayed in Emerald Isle the past 4 years and love it there. This was my first time in AB and this neighborhood was really nice, quiet. Loved having the private pool (definitely what sold us on this place), and despite not being direct oceanfront for the first time, it was an easy walk across the street to the beach access. Just wish the ocean views were better from the house, but the two houses just across the street were very large, thus obstructing most of the ocean. The home was beautiful inside, and we loved all the beach chairs. Neither of the umbrellas worked, so glad we brought an easy-up tent for some shade on the beach. Shelling was great on the beach without having to travel anywhere; always many “treasures” washed up, especially after storms came through one night. We appreciated all the beach towels as well!

We had a family vacation at the beach house. The house was great for us. We loved the very short walk to the beach and the closeness to shopping and restaurants. The house had lots of amenities to take the beach.

We loved our stay at Gone Coastal. The beds were very comfy, lots of good kitchen equipment, copious towels, extra beach chairs and umbrella. The decor was beachy and minimalist which we liked. The outdoor shower was a bonus and having soap and shampoo provided was helpful. The pool area was nicely thought out and the pool was fun. Out front a really lovely walk through some shady bushes and soft grass made the trip to the beach very pleasant. We will return!

The house was very clean and in a great location. It was stocked with everything you need for both inside and outside/beach. Our family had a wonderful time and hope to stay here again next summer!

This house was stocked with anything you could possibly need. It includes all dishes, plates, glasses, silverware, grilling utensils, sheets, bath towels, pool towels, etc. The house was very clean and the pool area had lots of games and floats. We had no issues during our stay. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Atlantic Beach!

Several of the drawers in the kitchen were dirty with crumbs. There was no trash bags. Pots and pans were scorched, dirty and not in great shape. Had one episode with a few ants in the kitchen. After putting out ant bait we didn’t have any more problems. They were mostly on the counter by the sink. The swimming pool in the back was the main reason we rented this particular cottage.

The house was exactly as described. The pool was terrific. The house is well stocked even beach towels and pool toys. It’s very convenient to the beach , a short walk across the street.. The neighborhood is very quiet and pleasant. The beach is lovely. We had a lovely vacation! The owner is very easy to communicate with and answers questions promptly. Great house for families!

Two couples with two infants (about 1 year old each) and had a great stay at Captains Quarters! The beach access was conveniently across the street and the pool in the backyard was great with the little ones. The house had everything we needed and space for everyone - we loved the upstairs deck, the pool, and being able to do laundry. We really appreciated the cargo lift to get our luggage and groceries up to the second floor. The house was also very clean and the check in and check out instructions were clear. Can’t wait to stay again some time soon!

Excellent property. My kinds enjoyed their Spring Break. And so did the parents and grandparents!

My family and I loved the cleanliness and the fact that it had everything we needed for the beach. It felt just like home. We were overall very very amazed by the property

Lovely property, with all of the amenities, particularly the pool in the backyard, the wine fridge, and the beach access across the street… Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

A fine, solid, and clean property with a pool was the source of a very comfortable trip. There is easy access to a beach which is not crowded at all in that immediate area. Our only recommendation to the management was to mark the edge of the deck (only a few inches high) which fronts the pool area.

Very nice place but over priced compared to other rentals.

House was as pictured. Beach was easy to access. Kids loved the pool!! Only suggestion is to have a bigger dining table, but that’s really just more of an enhancement.

We were a group of 15 (9 stayed at the house and 6 stayed nearby) between the ages of 7 and 77. The house was wonderful. Perfectly located with awesome amenities for all ages. The beach access could not be any closer or easier. The pool was perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed (and more). We enjoyed being close to the Shark Shack, Atlantic Beach Seafood Market, Island Produce and Venice. The communication for checkin and questions was easy and Mary was very responsive. We hope to return soon!

We booked this house for our family of 10 (ages 13-73) during Thanksgiving week. The layout worked great for us, we especially loved the open spacious living/dining/kitchen area upstairs and the second living area downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing and serving our holiday dinner and the exterior cargo lift for luggage/groceries was very helpful too!We also liked location and amenities of the property, with the beach access directly across the street and a beautiful pool area in the back. The house was like new inside and very clean. The only slight negative we found was that the 2nd bathroom upstairs was a little small for servicing 2 bedrooms, but fine for a vacation property. Communications prior to and during our stay were very good. The property manager was quick to respond to any emails/calls and we had one very minor issue on the first day that was quickly taken care of by the owners themselves. Overall a great experience we would certainly do again!
