This home pretty much met all of our needs and was stocked with great supplies. Very spacious and incredible view of the Cedar River, which was serene and enchanting. It was nice to know the owners were nearby and very responsive. We will be frequent returnees as we have family there locally. We were very pleased overall with our stay and the lovelh accomodations.

Our son was competing in a wrestling tournament for the weekend so we made a quick trip to Cedar Falls and would never stay anywhere else! The property was clean and the owners were very quick in responding to any questions we had.

My daughter got married this weekend in Waverly at The Hidden Acre. We live 2 hours away and didn’t want to stay in a hotel, so found this gem of a place instead. It was perfect! My husband and I and our 3 other kids, plus my best friend from out of town all were very comfortable in this house. The view was beautiful in the mornings and we loved the quiet in the nights. The host was so easy to communicate with. We felt very welcome! We hope to be able to return during a time when we don’t have so much planned so we can enjoy the house more!

This property is one of the finest we have visited over the years. Super clean, beautifully upgraded, and nicely located overlooking the very pretty Cedar River. Quiet. The kitchen and sun room overlooking the river were superb. Thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing get-away. Very good value for the price.

We came for Wartburg Homecoming weekend and had a very nice weekend. We had everything we needed for our stay!

We were thrilled with our stay for so many reasons. The property was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Loved the charging stations and internet enabled TVs. Could not have been happier with the beautiful views and easy access to trails. Also super easy to drive to adorable Main Street for coffee and treats.

The screened in porch/balcony was our favorite area
We saw eagles, deer and crane while enjoying our meals and coffee
Beds were comfortable
Neighborhood seemed very safe, quiet and semi private
We didn’t have time to use the nice bike/walking path not far from the home but that is a perk
Tony was more than accommodating!!!
We will recommend this home to all of our friends needing an area in Cedar Falls

We wanted one last little getaway before school started up again. This home and property was perfect for our family. Everything from the cozy loft to the Roku TV’s in each room and the beautiful view of the Cedar River was just what we as a family needed to regroup and spend some quality time together. The kitchen was also a big hangout spot for our teens. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Lakescape 2023 was a success. This weekend was full of friends, good times, great food, and even better views. The home was comfortable and very clean. The hosts were fantastic and accommodating. The space was appropriate for kids, ages two and under, and was a lovely space to vacation.

This house is amazing! It was unbelievably clean and everything felt new. The owners thought of so many little things to make our stay comfortable (space heaters, extra blankets, lots of kitchen appliances and tools, and even games/toys for the kids). The views of the river were wonderful. We had a long and busy weekend of sports in Cesar Falls for our kids, and it was so nice to come back to a comfortable home each evening. We would definitely stay here again!
