Great rainforest location overlooking the mountains out to the Coast. Very close to walking trails, parks and amenities. Very relaxing stay. Jess the host was very accommodating and lovely to deal with. The breakfast included in the stay was generous and delicious. It's convenient you can purchase pizza for dinner if you don't feel like going out at night. The setting of the studio in the rainforest was beautiful.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Lage war außerordentlich gut; auf einer Anhöhe mit tollem Blick in die Ferne auf die Stadt Gold Coast. Die beiden Inhaber waren sehr, sehr freundlich und trotz des Stromausfalles und des Ersatz-Stroms mit Generator war alles topp. Sehr sehr schön . Vielen herzlichen Dank an die Gastgeber. Hosts were amazing, genuinely friendly and helpful. Location was great, view from the deck fabulous. Would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone wanting to explore this part of Queensland.

I honestly can't think of anything that needed attention or that we didn't like about it

Jessica and Albert are very friendly and great hosts. We were met by Jessica at 8pm for a late check in. Full instructions had been given. The breakfast and smoothies are really good. The location is lovely and the views incredible.

Jess and Albert were great hosts. Jess was fantastic, she cooked us a lovely pizza with a salad on the side for our dinner. Then brought ice cream to our room a little later. I had mango & lime sauce over vanilla ice cream - the shredded kaffir lime leaves added a different dimension and freshness - loved it. Buffet breakfast - so many choices of hot and cold to choose from, and the smoothies were delicious. Would recommend for a secluded, romantic getaway, had views of bushland and Gold Coast from our floor to ceiling windows.

Perhaps a simple salad added to the dinner menu served with meat or cheese and a crusty baguette. We had had a large lunch elsewhere before arriving at Sky Studios and the weather being a little stormy, we didn't want to go out, so something light would have been great. Perhaps even some cheese, crackers and fruit to enjoy with a local wine.

wonderful view and very helpful host. Breakfast was delicious. The cabin we stayed got two rooms both with their separate bath and toilet. We did not use the kitchen, it was well equipped if you would like to cook a meal yourself.

Everything about the Sky Island Studio was good, it in a great location with exceptional views, comfy and clean studio, unique & delicious breakfast and a big thank you to Jess for being friendly an helpful.

Jess went out of her way to ensure our stay was extra special and had an amazing attention to detail.

Very minor considering how wonderful everything else was but the little window near the roof has no blind so it's very bright once the sun is up if you are used to sleeping in the dark.

The view is spectacular, the staff were so lovely, the units are well appointed and very comfortable. Free parking and can get extra meals cooked for you as required. The breakfast on the deck amongst the trees is fabulous.

The only thing I could say is that you can't walk to the shops, but we didn't need to as the owners can supply almost what ever you need in line of meals and drinks.

This place is a little piece of paradise set in the trees near Mt Tambourine not far from the beaches of the gold coast and the theme parks but also close to the Gallery's, bush walks and views of Mt Tambourine. The breakfast they provide is great and full of options. They also provide delicious home cooked meals and drinks for dinner at very reasonable prices, if you don't feel like driving to the numerous cafes and restaurants. A great place to get away from the crowds. I highly recommend it.

Having a delicious buffet breakfast with an awesome view was a bonus.

Location suited our needs very well. Peaceful setting, lovely hosts. Just right for our weekend getaway.

Breakfast was great. Friendly and personal service. Great views. Quiet spot. Outdoor breakfast area overlooking the Gold Coast beach. Only a few rooms which made overcrowding impossible.

Nothing really. The recent fires had left a blanket of smoke over the Gold Coast - which was nobody’s fault, it cleared overnight. Intend on returning to see the smoke free views.

Accomodating, communicative friendly staff. Excellent breakfast, tasty varied foods and beverages (coffees, smoothies) to choose from.

Not fond of the bed area raised floor, just had to remember the two steps if getting up at night to visit bathroom but this is an architectural feature so understand not readily changeable.

Bed way to hard. Heater not quite big enough for cabin, but plenty of blankets. Poor wifi coverage but i think thats more mountain than accommodation issues

the double bed in the second bedroom has 2x single quilts not a large double. We had accommodation for 4x adults but only 2x wine glasses and 2x large dinner plates (it did have 2x smaller) but matching crockery would have been good.
