The property was as described and the area lovely, great location to be out of the hustle of the city but close enough to be easily visited each day by subway or ferry. I suggest you try Bel air Diner just down the road as its amazing! The owners were lovely and communication spot on. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a great time at the accommodation, the location is ideal for direct transport into NYC although the buses and trains can get a little crowded. The apartment was exactly as described and was great to have the 3 bedrooms which enabled us all to have our own space when required, all facilities and local amenities were great, would certainly recommend. Thanks again for making us welcome and giving us some good tips to help us enjoy our NYC experience.

This is the first time I’ve used VRBO and would definitely use it again. The property was very well located with only a short distance to Manhattan, train station and local dining. Our host Julien was very helpful and the house was very well equipped for all our needs.

We stayed there for 1 week in October 2018 as a family of 4 adults. Julien and Diana are great hosts and made our booking, arrival and stay easy. The apartment is in a great location approx 15 minutes (slow) walk to Metro as the closest station, Broadway is current closed for renovation. It is also a great location to get to the ferry. Local amenities are also within walking distance The apartment has been newly decorated and is well equipped, if I had to find a negative one of the double beds was too hard for us, so we swapped rooms, no dramas there. We travelled into the city daily and the N&W lines served us well. I would have no problem in recommending this rental to family or friends

We had the most amazing time in NYC...especially thanks to Julien & Diana. They made our trip spectacular. Julien was there to greet us, going out of his way to accommodate our flight arrival times. If we needed anything at all, all we had to do was text/call him. All our needs were met, and our expectations exceeded. Their home was beautiful, clean, and in a quiet and safe location in Astoria. You could tell a lot of work went into it's restoration. We were close to the Subway (N or W line), the market, and even McDonalds. We will definitely be bringing more of our family back and staying at this home in the future!!! It is marked as our favorite. <3 <3 <3
