Overall, the house was a good fit for our needs. 1. They had plenty of cookware for those of us that preferred to make our own meals. 2.The golfcart was the primary reason for our decision in selecting the place - It's not in peak condition, but it will get you around town and to&from the beach. The location of the house makes it easy to drive to the beach or the stores. 3. The private pool is on the smaller side but we enjoyed it. There seemed to be lots of pool items that were available, but most required inflation and we didnt feel the need to do so for our stay. If we had little ones with us, we may have tried a few to keep the kids entertained. 4. The books in the house were actually some that I would read, so there was that option too. 5. The house also has a working washer and dryer for laundry needs. 6. There was plenty of space for our entire party to sleep. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and in working condition. We did mention some items that the hosts should consoder addressing after our stay (we didnt feel they warranted immediate action while we were there) and they responded promptly and followed up the next day to inform me they had taken steps to address those issues. We would recommend to others for future visits.

The property was exactly as stated! Property manager was incredibly quick in response to a very minor issue we had and we were taken care of immediately. Passed the info to family in Austin who to book for the summer!!!

What a Great place. Host was very responsive to a Couple needs. House was great. Even though the weather did not cooperate, the stay was fun and relaxing. Most fun was cruising around in the golf cart provided. We will absolutely stay again when in the area.

The house was great, beds were comfortable the kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of and toys! The golf cart was super handy for going to the beach. Would definitely come back!

Although the weather for the weekend was in the 30s and 40s, we still had a great time and were able to enjoy the heated pool! The place has a great assortment of games and all the TV you could want to have a relaxing time, even inside. We’d love to come back and use this great place as our home base as we get out and enjoy the beach during the day. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Great vacation home! Very clean, beautifully decorated, everything we needed for a great vacation. Like staying at home but at the beach! Owner was great, very responsive! Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

It’s always a gamble when you rent a place sight unseen. We were so excited when we arrived and ready to enjoy. Weekend at the beach with our extended family. The place was just as pictured! The golf cart was a hit, we did have to rent an additional one to accommodate our group. The pool was AMAZING and used the entire time!! The heat function, water features and the lights made it extra special! The grill was used the whole weekend! Plenty of room/space to hang out in the living room/kitchen area. All the things we forgot were there for use! Whew! All the beds were clean and cozy. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of towels! It was nice to have the washer and dryer as well as the towels got used quite a bit! Will definitely rent again when we plan our next trip. The location is close to everything!

Property is amazing and Marsha is wonderful. Very responsive and helpful with all questions. We enjoyed the pool after great days at the beach. The house is bright and airy and the set up was great for our group.

This property had everything to accommodate our whole group ages ranging from 6-25+ We absolutely loved everything about it. The heated pool was a big hit with everyone. Golf cart was a plus made it a breeze to get around to the beach and for last minute items at the local shops. Will definitely recommend and will be back to this location! We loved It!

This was our second year staying at "Slow M'Ocean ". Marsha, the property manager, is excellent and took care of everything. An ice maker was added in the garage which made the trip even easier. The house is an open floor plan, great for spending time with the family, and the 4 bedrooms give adequate privacy. Having a private pool, a 6 seat golf cart, an ice machine, and a full size grill on the patio made this an "all inclusive" vacation. And the beach is only 5 minutes away. We'll be returning next year for our 3rd time.

This was such an incredible vacation. The weather was pretty sucky but that did not stop us from having an amazing trip. The house is spectacular. It was so comfortable. Had everything we needed. The pool was amazing. The owner helped recommend some amazing places to eat. It was windy and yucky out last 2 days but the heated pool was great. The golf cart made trips to the beach super convenient. Will stay again 10/10!

Very family friendly property and beautiful to boot. We didn't really have to leave except to take the short trip to the beach using the cart that was available. It was also great having our own little private pool to use at night. It was well serviced and very clean. Owners are very responsive and made themselves available if we needed them. I would definitely recommend to others. We will be coming back!

We had a great time and a change of scenery from SA. Being outside was wonderful whether that was in the golf cart for beach visits or relaxing in the pool on property. Look forward to going back.

We had a number of family from all over the US stay with us at Slow M'Ocean. The property and home in excellent condition with all the needed amenities. The heated pool was the best. Gold cart made it easy to get around and explore. The owners were very responsive to any needs at a moments notice. We will definitely book with them in the future. I highly recommend staying at any of their properties.

We had a wonderful time. The weather was not all that great it we were able to stay in and have fun also enjoyed sitting out on the porch.

I struggle with this review because we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean. It was cheaply, but tastefully decorated. The furniture could have been more comfortable.The home is large, plenty of room. The home was well stocked with most necessities. The host checked in on us to make sure we didn't need anything. The pool was a bit dirty, and not working properly. Someone came and threw a couple pounds of chlorine in it and left. They did not vacuum it. There was two poles, but no dip nets on the poles, so we used a childs toy to clean the best we could. We ended up fixing the pool ourselves as they said they couldn't get anyone out until after we left. The furniture at the pool was cheap and frankly scary to sit in. There was cockroaches in the kitchen. The host offered to have someone come and spray but we requested to wait till after we left. We did not want to smell it our stir them up any more. They do need some better pans. The golf cart was handy, but rattled. The gas pedal stuck on it the day before we left. I had pulled the key out so not to lose it, so I could not get it to stop. Tried stomping on the pedal and ended up going backwards out ofvthe drive full speed. Thankfully no one was in the drive or the street. Could have been really bad. I was two houses down before getting the key back in to turn it off. Brakes didn't work well enough to stop it. SCARY! Needs to be lubricated.. The bathrooms were ok. They need some new rods and curtain rings. 3 1/2 star. Too hi

The house was very well stocked. Perfect size and location for us. The pool was a big hit in the evenings The only issue I had with the pool is the gate latch to keep my grandaugther out did not work at all. We were able to tie off but needs to be fixed, for safety reasons. Golf cart was a big plus. Will come again.

Cute house and decor. Had lots of extra beach! House was clean and in working order inside. We chose this house because having our own pool for the kids to enjoy was a priority and selling point for us. The pool was small and not clean. It is understandable for pools to have beach sand in them. But this pool had trash in it. Water was never circulating either. It had Burrito wrappers and ice bags, dirty paper towels. Lots of debris on the bottom of pool as well. The garage had lots of floaties some should be trashed but I actually left a couple of large boogie boards. The cart was great. The Ice Maker never made one ice cube the entire week we were there. Handy outside shower and water hose to spray sand off.

The house was a perfect fit for us. The pool, golf cart, and ice machine were awesome perks for us. Not to mention the abundance of beach towels, beach toys, and chairs. The only issue, they did not leave us TP, but we had brought our own. The owner was very responsive, so if I would have asked for it, I think we would have gotten some!
