Lovely clean and simple place with very nice swimming pool, good service and smiley and helpful people. e had a family room with 2 double beds in it. Air con and a decent bathroom.

The staff were generally very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was pleasant although there wasn’t a very interesting view. The garden area where you have breakfast was lovely. We particularly enjoyed one morning when we had the pool to ourselves. Unfortunately we ended up leaving the hotel after only 3 nights out of our 7 night stay due to excessive noise at night. You could hear everything through the walls and on the 3rd night being subjected to the entire of Lord of the Rings in Italian through the wall was just too much and we left the hotel. This was our honeymoon (wedding trip) and so we wanted somewhere quiet and romantic. If you like to get up early and go to bed late or are a heavy sleeper than this might be a lovely stay for you but it wasn’t right for us. The owners were very apologetic when we told them and were absolutely wonderful.

We arrived early, but were able to check into our room straight away. We had a warm greeting from Pasquale, who looked after us during our stay. Breakfast was simple but filled me up each day, and came with the option to sit outside or have it in our room. The room was very spacious and cleaned immaculately each day. The mini bar in the room was reasonably priced, which was a plus. Thank you for making our stay at Gentarrubia so welcoming.

We are a family of five and spent our time there with extended family also. The rooms are cleaned daily and to a high standard. The breakfast buffet is ample with a good choice. The pool was slightly cold (October) but did not put the children off, and the surrounding outside area had lots of space/tables etc to gain privacy from other families. The only thing I would say is that you need a car as there is not much in the immediate surroundings, but plenty to do as far as beautiful beaches (plus plus plus) that are about 40mins to an hour away. The capital takes 15 mins to get to and is fantastic. Oh. and at the end of October it was hot and mostly cloud free and the sea was beautifully warm.

My husband and I ended with Gentarrubia on our final tour of Sardinia. We stayed here for 3 nights. First you do need a car to get around. We chose this location based on the previous comments. Hidden gem and perfect location to go to many of the beaches Chia and Poetto. Breakfast was superb and they had BROWN Coffee my husband was in heaven. Do let them know when you check in. They also are very nice washing my beach blanket for me and didn't charge a lot. Once you get to know the roads restaurants are not that far to eat. Fruita D'Ora is 5 min drive and we ate at the restaurant twice there. Unfortunately we didn't try the pool because my husband and I are adventurous and left right after breakfast. If you are looking for a quiet place then this is it.

I loved this b&b,so nice very clean and a special thanks to the staff,they are fantastic.Good breakfast and good location,close to cagliari and the beaches.Our room was excellent,I reccomend it.

The family that runs the facility are great! Very nice and helpful. The breakfast was fairly standard which works well for our family. The pool is why we came here since we have young kids. A bit out of the way from Cagliari, but with a car it is not a problem.

we arrived at 5pm but door was closed and nobody answered the phone. So, we told with guest to contact to host. and the host wanted me to pay again that they didn't check proprely at check out time I was felt bad.
I found a lot of ants in bathroom. Anyway they need to improvement about management as professional hospitallity.

We had a wonderful two weeks at Gentarubbia,very friendly staff, pool and stitting area superb as was the room. Location great for Cagliari, Pula, Nora and wonderfull beaches.

This B&B is just lovely. The owners and staff are friendly, polite and very helpful. The ameneties are on a par with a hotel, however you may find the breakfast dissapointing if you expect an english or continental breakfast, Italians have light breakfasts and this is what you get. You will need a car if staying here, as you would do in all of southern Sardinia as public transport is not as readily available as in the North of the island. The pool is wonderful, refreshing and there is plenty of garden furniture to longe around on. Top Tip Take your own beach towel!!

We enjoyed our stay although we didn't have time to take advantage of the pool or jacuzzi.The bathroom had been newly refurbished. The room had all you need but the single beds were a little narrow and slightly uncomfortable. We were pleased to be able to get BBc to catch up on UK news. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of things to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only criticism is the B&B is difficult to find - the signs on the lamposts are far too small to be noticed easily - we had to phone. Well worth staying there to explore Pula and Cagliari - bit you do need a car.

Not difficult to find with SatNav. Could be a bit of problem if trying to find the hotel at night without SatNav because it is in the middle of the residential area in the village. We arrived at about 8pm at the end of November with heavy rain and lightning and the sky channel was not working due to the storm; otherwise every thing else is fine. Breakfast was reasonably good and the area is clean and tidy. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel (Bed and Breakfast actually).

Its a very nice and modern B&B with a very friendly staff at your service. ( Great job, Daniele, Pascuale and a rest of a staff). A liitle bit industrial surrounding but beautiful view of a mountains. Perfect place for someone who appreciates quiet holiday, starting point for adventures and likes to mix up with local people.Very friendly people in a nearby bars and restaurants with fantastic selection of a local cuisine in a vary good price range. Most expensive pizza in a local pizzeria( Over 30 to choose from) was 10 euro and thats for a 12 inch base. Strongly recommend to single travellers and adventure looking who enjoy discovering off beaten, full of tourist track.
