The house is beautiful, spotless, and the mountain views are perfect. The owners have thought of literally everything you could possibly need. I've never seen a vacation rental so well organized, and communication was excellent as well. I would highly recommend staying here.

If you're looking for a home right in the heart of Tucson, this isn't it. HOWEVER... if you're looking to escape to somewhere nicer than your own home, that is stocked from floor to ceiling with everything you could ever need or want during your stay (and then some), and where your hosts will periodically check in just to make sure you're enjoying yourselves, then look no further. Casa Apenglow is tucked into a quiet northern suburb at the foot of the Catalina Mountains, so it's a good 30-45 minutes to most of Tucson's attractions, although you'll find incredible restaurants all within a 15-minute drive or less. Our party of six (grandparents, parents, and teenagers) was happy to have lots of space both indoors and outdoors to spread out, and the paved walking/bike path directly behind the house was a wonderful bonus. We have stayed at numerous rental homes over the last 15 years but every one of them now pales in comparison to the level of service and attention to detail that Jenn and Jon thoughtfully provide to their guests. Enjoy your stay in this fantastic home — we sure did!

Great house everything you want in a High End Vrbo.

This desert oasis exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning views and impeccable design of the house. The interior offers modern comfort, very nice décor, spacious living areas and a gourmet kitchen that made me feel right at home. The highlight, however, was the outdoor space. The backyard boasts a sparkling pool, hot tub and panoramic mountain vistas, providing the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. Jenn and Jon were great to work with. The hospitality was exceptional, ensuring a seamless stay from start to finish. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway or a family vacation, this Tucson retreat is an absolute gem. We cannot wait to return for another stay in this wonderful desert escape.

We cannot rave enough about this house. And the extraordinary hosts. It was like staying in a luxury hotel with 3 King-size beds and 1 queen, and every luxury amenity you can imagine, from fresh coffee, excellent shampoos and soaps, stunning views, linens(!),beautiful artwork, and a guidebook app! With concierge communications!! Just go!

We spent the past week in Tucson, based at Casa Alpenglow in Oro Valley. Jenn and Jon prepped us for all of the house amenities well in advance of our arrival. The house is incredibly spacious, comfortable, well lit, and very modern. The kitchen was a joy to cook in, bedrooms were large and beds had really nice mattresses. The hot tub was one of the nicest I've ever been in (large and salt water). Pool was worth heating. The few questions we had during our stay were quickly answered by Jon and Jenn. Location was short drives to Safeway, Whole Foods, and some excellent tex mex restaurants. There's a recently paved walking/biking path just around the corner from the house. The wash below is full of birds (for those of us that are hopeless bird watchers), and the view of the Catalina Mountains is the icing on the cake. Really can't praise this stay enough. It's that wonderful.

Casa Alpenglow exceeded our very high expectations! The VIEWS! We made sure to be home for the sunsets, which never disappointed. The Mountains are so grand, you feel you can touch them. The panorama is beyond what can be captured in a photograph! The location is ideal, close to hiking, biking, shopping and golf. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated; it is light and bright and airy, with interesting and tasteful desert decor. Many personal touches abound which show the TLC that the hosts put into this property. It was immaculately clean, well-equipped, and very well-stocked —our every need was anticipated and satisfied in high-end fashion. The kitchen was a joy. The beds and linens were gloriously luxurious and fresh. The layout of the home is perfect for an extended family with no steps and separate HVAC zones. Pool and spa and fire pit are wonderful. Quiet neighborhood with lots of nature to behold. Our hosts Jenn and Jon were fantastic before and during our visit, they offered to assist in many ways while we were planning our trip, and had great tips and recommendations for activities and dining. Any questions, they responded immediately. We enjoyed getting to know them and will certainly be back!
