This was a wonderful, cozy place to stay on our honeymoon. The views are amazing. The proximity to Sugar Mountain and Grandfather Mountain is easy. The owners are very communicative. We would definitely stay here again.

Even though Vrbo almost ruined my vacation, this house is incredible, very cozy in an incredible place. The owners thought of everything, games, treats for the dogs, wine for the end of the year. I definitely recommend this house, I just wouldn't recommend the Vrbo website, if you can rent through another website it would be safer.

The condo was very comfortable and great for 2 people. We were also happy that it was pet friendly. The view was magnificent and I have lovely photos of the sunset. A very nice place to stay in the High Country!

This was a great place to stay for relaxation and taking in an incredible view. We had everything we needed, the property was meticulously clean and the location could not have been better. Our host was attentive with the checkin information and had zero issues with our stay. We won't hesitate to book again.

The condo is lovely - perfect size for two. Nice kitchen, beautiful views from the balcony, very comfortable. We came for an event at Grandfather Mountain as well as some hiking in the area - perfect location. It was very warm in the bedroom at night, couldn't get a clear understanding if there was air conditioning or not. Otherwise, a great visit!

The view was spectacular. The only issue was we had no hot water for the jacuzzi the fist 3 days. Plus no lights at night scary when you are walking a dog with potential bears lurking.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo. Everything was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The coffee bar was exciting and they even left us some hiking snacks! You could not beat the view and the place is centrally located so that you could get to as many mountain adventures as we had time for in less than an hours drive. It was a great choice for us to stay there!

We had a wonderful mountain trip and this was a great place to stay! It’s hard to find a place so nice and clean that welcomes our little dog. The condo was very clean, lots of amenities, and a beautiful long range mountain view. The location was close to lots of high mountain things to do. And thank you to the hosts who make sure you enjoy your stay.

I wanted to spend time with my 13 year old golden retriever as I know her time is limited. After the 8 hour drive up, the “few stairs” in the property description turned out to be a very steep staircase leading up to the entry. Once inside there is a long narrow staircase down, a landing to break up the distance and then another long narrow staircase to reach the unit door. Unfortunately, the staircases were too much for my senior dog. As she weighs over 65 pounds there was no option where I could carry her. There is no carpeting in the unit and the floors are quite slippery. The strain on us both to get her in and outside was just too much and would not be sustainable over the entire week, so we were forced to check out early. This is my first vacation rental and unfortunately my last as the unit owner, despite VRBO’s recommendation to refund me for the 4 days I wasn’t able to stay in the unit, simply would not do so. Bottom line: This is not a ideal unit for pet owners or people with mobility issues, there is really no good spot for dogs to relieve themselves, and if you experience any unexpected issues, this host will not give a refund. I drove 16 hours for what amounted to a one night stay that cost me just under $1,000. Very disappointed this super host wasn’t so super.

The location was perfect and view absolutely magnificent. We enjoyed everything about our trip and hope to visit again soon. The property was immaculate and there were so many extras provided. The property is pet friendly and our little dog had a great trip too.

Property was clean and well-maintained. Deck was a pleasant size and the view was spectacular. Would stay there again.

My husband and I stayed three nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The condo was immaculately clean. I never found anything unclean about the property, which is hard to be said of when booking anywhere! The view from the balcony is undeniably breathtaking! We found the living room furniture very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice and soft. We didn’t do any cooking during our stay, but saw that the kitchen was pretty well stocked if we needed anything. We enjoyed being able to bring our fur baby on vacation with us. The property isn’t all that dog friendly as far as finding a good place to take the dog to use the bathroom. We found a spot past the other group of condos where he liked to go potty. We used the dog bowls that were there in the kitchen and even gave the dog a few treats from the treat jar. The shower had really good water pressure and the water got really hot. I would say the only negative would be the washer and dryer being outside the front door, and the steps being a little difficult carrying heavy suitcases, but it wasn’t a big setback. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would choose this condo again and again!

We had a wonderful time staying here. Perfect place to stay, very clean and cute. Thet were available when checking in late, was so helpful. Definitely will be coming back to stay.
