The house is beautiful and perfectly situated on the mountain to have the most amazing views. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do--Ober mountain, Gatlinburg, Cade's Cove. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed! We cooked most meals at home. The game room was lots of fun. Mama bear and her cub walked down the driveway on our last night! I would highly recommend this house and the host!! Everything was perfect.

I have given other properties 5 stars due to mostly cool amenities (we have stayed in Gatlinburg several times), but this one takes the cake! This house by far beats the rest. Views are amazing, beds are very comfortable, house is clean, hot tub is great, and game room is fun! Movie night in living room and card games every night at kitchen table. ❤️

We had such a wonderful time. Just being able to cook and relax with our family with the beautiful views we had made for a memorable birthday!

My family of 12 had the absolute best time at Risen from the Ashes. The cabin is exactly as listed. The game room was a hit for all ages. The view is breathtaking when the clouds touch the mountaintops. We cooked many meals and had every tool and appliance needed. The place was spotless. This cabin is easy to find and close to all the hotspots. We would love to come back in the future.

Our stay was wonderful! We had the most amazing views and got to spend our first family Christmas in Gatlinburg in such a great cabin with absolutely amazing mountains shining in the windows. The hosts, Callie and David were so wonderful and helpful. I even got a personal call from Callie to update us on a question we had. The Cabin was immaculate and well stocked, we have a big family of 8 and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out and enjoy our time. My kids loved the game room and the living room actually fit our entire family for Christmas movie night. We also love the location of the cabin, it’s minutes from the gatlinburg strip and only 15 min to pigeon forge. We will definitely be back to stay here. This was our favorite family cabin, and we come to gatlinburg several times a year as a family. You won’t wanna miss this one!

Beautiful home, amazing views. Super clean and well equiped

This is the one! This home was perfect for our group of 11. We enjoyed spending time together playing in the game room, cooking smores over the fire pit, and taking in the breathtaking views offered on the back decks. The home was well stocked and had enough cookwear to make meals for all 11 of us. The drive to the home was on paved roads, and all of us felt very safe staying there. Check-in was a breeze and communication was excellent. We will be back, hopefully sooner than later.

This house was everything we could have hoped for and more. Beautiful, clean, and amazing views. The family of black bears even wandered by our last morning and put on a wrestling show in the driveway for us! Overall, fantastic experience across the board.

Wow what a beautiful place! We had just the right amount of space for the amount of people we had for three families! The views are phenomenal, truly breath taking! Inside the house is gorgeous with detailed decor that was top notch! Definitely recommend this house if you want a beautiful view in a comfortable, clean, and spacious home! We will be looking to book here again!

Perfect home for us to all be together. We loved so many things about it from the location to 3 decks, game room, hot tub, and comfortable furniture and beds. We had bear sightings right out our window!! The pool was refreshing after our daily activities and only a few minute walk up the hill. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous home with us. Everything was exactly as described and pictured but was even more beautiful in person. The hosts had excellent communication with us prior to and during our stay. The cabin had a great layout, was furnished and decorated extremely well, there was more than enough space and things to do for everyone during our son’s 21st birthday trip. Location was excellent for visiting the surrounding area. We even had a visit from the local bear our last evening. We can’t wait to return!

As soon as I saw the listing for this house I knew it was the one. The house is even more spectacular in person. It was spacious and spotless. The decks and views are stunning and the hot tub, fire pit and game room were a huge hit with my family. The beds were so comfortable we are going to purchase the same for our home. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing a bear on our first day. The location is close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. No long drives to town. Just as amazing as the house so are the owners. Any questions I had no matter what time of day they replied within minutes Their hospitality was truly appreciated and made for a relaxing vacation. We really enjoyed our stay here. We were two families with kids ranging from 5 years old to 16 years old. It never felt crowded and there was something to keep everyone happy: games, hot tub, relaxing on the large deck, and the community pool just a short walk away. We all had a comfortable place to sleep... and each bedroom had it's own bathroom, supplied with plenty of towels. The one thing I would suggest for improvement: stocking the kitchen a bit more (strainer, oven-safe cookware, salt, etc) for groups that want to stay in and cook.

Awesome cabin!!! Beautiful Views. Plenty of space for everyone. Game room was fun for all ages. Loved all of the big screen tvs. Walk in showers for every bathroom was a nice touch as well. Location was good if you wanted to go to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.

Wonderful stay at an absolutely beautiful home that comfortably accommodated 8 adults and 4 children. There were plenty of linens for everyone, plenty of supplies in the kitchen, and the game room was lots of fun. The kids loved playing in the loft bedroom and the firepit was so nice on the cool, early summer nights. I would strongly recommend this chalet.

Beautiful and spacious house. The views were amazing! The location was close to every activity that was planned over the weekend. The grandkids loved the gameroom and their own personal space in the loft. The young adults enjoyed the hot tub and sitting out by the fire pit. We did see the bear family up close. They came in between the houses and the momma bear paid us a visit on the lower deck. Will definitely book another trip.

We had an amazing stay. Beds and linens were very comfortable. It was so nice having a bathroom for each bedroom. The views were amazing. We also saw a family of bears come right between the houses. The many windows and decks allowed us to watch them at a safe distance with great up close views. Highly recommend!.

We truly appreciate David and Calli sharing their home with my family and our very dear friends and their children. First the house is immaculately appointed with all a family and/or a group of friends would ever need. The design is rustic but contemporary. The adults and kids loved the gameroom and assortment of games. The triple deck with access from every room in the house is a smart touch. Now to the mouth-dropping part. The wall of windows afford some of the most phenomenal views of the mountains, which are breathtaking. I often thanked the Lord for allowing those precious moments to enjoy God's country with my family. Whoever designed the house thought of everything. We hope to come back next year if you will have us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...and we bookended the trip with sightings of the same family of bears meandering around the neighborhood. We saw them the first day and they said goodbye to us our last evening in the house. Truly blessed we are - and thank you again David and Calli for opening up your home to us.

We stayed at this property for a family vacation and it exceeded our expectations. The view was so beautiful, the property was immaculate, the entire family loved the game room and hot tub. We even got to see a group of black bears (from a safe distance)! Wi-Fi connection was great for people who needed to work!
