Cozy and very comfortable light-filled home with views of the sound, walking distance to a well-maintained beach with a playground, quiet and private neighborhood yet convenient to many good restaurants and shopping - a lovely property in a wonderful location. We had everything we needed for a relaxing week, and look forward to returning.

I love to cycle and fish and this place offers an abundance of both! Great views from the deck and very well stocked and furnished home. Highly recommended

The property is very comfortable. It’s about a 2 minute walk to the beach, which is very clean and safe. It’s a great neighborhood to walk. Old Saybrook has some enjoyable restaurants.

During our "winter to spring" getaway, the views were wonderful and the weather cooperated for numerous beach walks. Debbie was gracious and responded to our questions quickly. I would recommend staying at the house any time during the year!

This propert is absolutely stunning, and is everything you see in the pictures. My wife and I, plus our toddler, stayed for a week and made memories that will last a lifetime. The house offers beautiful views of the ocean and is just a short, short, walk to the beach. If the beach isn’t where you want to be, then there’s plenty of places to relax at the cottage. My family thoroughly enjoyed being able to relax on the patio area under the deck, which offered plenty of shade during those really hot days. The deck offered stunning views of the ocean and a breeze was felt all day long. When the deck got too hot, there was an awning that came out and covered the whole deck. On those really hot days, it was nice go inside the cottage as there is central AC. The inside of the cottage was decorated just how a beach house should be. The cottage was also very clean and welcoming. The kitchen area offered plenty of counter space and areas to eat. The owner, Debbie, was very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

This was a lovely home base for my wife and I with our 18yo child and dog to explore CT beaches for the first time. Owner was attentive and accommodating. Everything was spotless when we arrived. We loved the house’s open design and natural light, its decor, and the comfy furniture & beds. We only used 2 of 3 bedrooms; our child opted for the upstairs loft instead of the downstairs back bedroom (because it could only be accessed be going through the master bedroom). We enjoyed the deck, and the covered patio under the deck was a favorite cool spot for us and the dog when the sun was too strong on the upper deck. Lots of dogs in the neighborhood but unfortunately they are not welcome in any of the public areas (no dogs allowed on beach, no dog parks, no water stations, no waste bags). People we met in the neighborhood were mostly kind and welcoming. The little private beaches in walking distance were nice enough that we never made the drive to bigger nearby Harvey’s Beach or others. Lots of excellent restaurants within 5-10 min drive. Day trips to Mystic were about 45 min drive hitting some bad traffic. Highly recommend this property for a small family looking for a quiet place to unwind.

We love this property! It is close to the beach, has beautiful sound views, and it's a great family community. It was a perfect fit for our family. Debbie is an amazing host and very accommodating. We can't wait to visit again next summer! Thank you, Debbie. We made great memories!!

Wonderful location and home convenient to a great beach with a small park, excellent crabbing, marina and beach. We would come back for sure. Well stocked with all toys, beach essentials and all you need for the house too.

the Property was very clean and well stocked with very nice quality kitchen items , towels , bedding . The beds were very comfortable . The Samsung TV was super ! The area is just lovely and the neighbors warm and friendly . Water views from the upper deck were stunning . The lower patio has comfy furniture and there was always a nice breeze there . Our dogs just loved it too . Highly recommended property . We hope to return next year . Just loved our week on Sea Lane . 💗

We had a wonderful stay at “Saybrook Manor." The house is as advertised. All living space is one level up (garage underneath), affording water views through windows from inside and from the deck outside. There are 2 other outdoor spaces on ground level, affording comfortable shaded relaxation spaces. Inside, the main room is bright, open to a kitchen and island counter/dining space that works well. The bedrooms have very comfortable beds -- with space to put away suitcases. The bathroom has a good-sized vanity/sink and also a nice tub/shower. All very comfortable for our group of three. A very nice private beach is quite close, available for use by those staying at the house. Dining and shopping are very close, too, in Old Saybrook and Westbrook. Debbie was open and responsive to our questions prior to the visit and also to our needs while there. All in all, this was an excellent choice for us.

We rented Debbi’s house for a month. It was perfect for the two of us and also spacious enough to accommodate my son his wife and our five year old grandson when they visited .House was exactly as advertised. Check in was a breeze as was checkout. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare any meal. Even used the gas grill. View of water from the upper deck was wonderful and very relaxing. Lower covered patio is very comfortable and outdoor dining area is perfect for dinners when weather permits. Neighborhood is excellent for walking riding bikes and exploring with the gold cart. A huge hit with my grandson. Two beaches and a small playground within a 5 minute walk. Many great restaurants to chose from and Debbi is very helpful and responsive with guidance If your lucky enough to have vacation dates when this space is available, GRAB IT!!!!!! You will be very pleased We WILL be back

This property is absolutely the most beautiful cottage by the sea , it exceeded all expectations, the views was just amazing , the atmosphere , neighborhood , it all was Spectacular! You had everything n more u needed in the kitchen , bathroom stocked , plenty of anything u might need. The king bed was very comfortable ! I hope to Get to come back Here in the future !

We had an amazing experience! The house is well stocked and we hardly needed any of the basics. The golf cart was super fun and made going to the beach so easy. The house was perfect and the location is amazing. Two private beaches and a beautiful location. The owner is so easy going and flexible. Our week was the weekend with a hurricane (Henri) and she contacted us, made sure we didn’t come down before it was safe and worked with us on pricing for this once in a lifetime weather situation. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a coastal beach vacation.

House was beautiful and comfortably holds 3 to 4 people. Nice setting with water views. 1 minute golf cart ride to beaches or 2 minute walk.

Finally visited CT from TX to eat, drink and visit at the beach after 2 years! Love this comfy house & community. Everyone was really friendly. Home was very well stocked and owner answered all questions quickly

Clean, very well-equipped and wonderful location. Owner was very helpful and great to work with. Such a friendly neighborhood! Loved taking our little grandson for a golf cart ride to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay- everything was spotless, the kids had a great time being right near the beach! Great communication, and close to many sights and fun things to do.
