A wonderful getaway for a large group!!

Perfect weekend for a girls trip! We loved the house and Michelle was very responsive!

We went to celebrate 3 family birthdays 21, 53 and 83. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was big enough for 7 of us to eat, sleep and play games. Close to restaurants and casinos. I would stay again.

We stayed here for a long weekend girls trip and it was perfect! The house is so cute and clean, with plenty of space for our group to comfortably fit and sleep! The property manager was very accommodating and quick to respond throughout the booking process as well as our stay. Would highly recommend staying here!

We had a group of seven women who wanted a weekend away from our families to recharge. This house was the perfect spot. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need. The beds are super comfortable. The hot tub is lovely. It’s a very close walk to the beach. And it’s close to so many wineries, breweries and great restaurants. Michelle and Ed were very responsive in communication. We would definitely come back to this house. Thank you for a great stay!

Loved the house and it fit 11 of us without a problem. The living room could use a few more comfy spots to sit but it is still a lovely space. Great beds and the house was super clean. Would definitely stay again.

We are a large group of 8. The home is so charming and the location is fantastic! We walked to the beach several times. The main level bedroom w/ attached bath was PERFECT for our 77 yr old mother. The three bedrooms upstairs for the rest of the fam were great. The owner responded to a couple of my questions very quickly and during a holiday weekend. Great service. The home is beautiful. The beach accessories were much better than other rental we have stayed at. The home was so clean. I would book this home again.

This house was wonderful. We are already planning our return visit for next year. It was clean and welcoming from the minute we walked through the door. It has a great open space living area that is fantastic for spending time with family. We loved the beautiful beach which was just a short easy walk from the house which we walked multiple times a day. We loved the cute little breakfast restaurant just down the block (a suggestion from the hosts). We will definitely be back.

Adorable well appointed home. Near the beach, Blue Chip Casino and Premium Outlet mall. Had the best time with my best girlfriends! House is so comfortable and organized. Slept wonderfully on account of the fabulous bedding. Perfect combination of fun and relaxation! Had the best time with my best girlfriends! Would stay again!!

7 of us stayed at this home for a girls weekend and the home was clean, beautiful and spacious! We enjoyed the sprawling kitchen and hot tub. Just a short walk to the beach or local brunch spot. The location does require a drive to most places nearby for dinner, nightlife (which is overall limited in this area), etc. The main family room’s 2 chairs and couch are a bit uncomfortable and not the best layout for a larger group to spread out and all relax together, but we didn’t find it terribly inconvenient since we were mostly on the go. Overall we enjoyed our time here!

We had 6 adults & 6 crazy cousins come together for a wonderful beach getaway at this comfy home. We cooked lasagna together and baked a birthday cake inside. Outside we went to the beach flew kites and came home ate s’mores and sat in the hot tub. The beds where comfortable the kids loved the bunk room! The beach was close and having the parking pass was awesome to be able to bring the stuff down there. Many memories were made and we will be back to make more because we couldn’t do it all !!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house . The property was very well kept and the owners have taken care on every little detail . The kitchen was well stocked and there was enough bath and beach towels . The only down side was the instructions for checkout . They wanted all sheets and pillow cover removed and start the laundry load . We already pay cleaning charges then I don’t see the reason to finish these chores when we are on vacation. It is not just with this property but many in VRBO asking us to clean the home and do laundry before checkout . Other than this no complaints. Had a good weekend. The property owner was very kind and let us do a late checkout too .

We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at Jon and Kelly's place with our two children 5 and 8 and 3 grandparents. There was plenty of space and the place was very clean and organized. We had a few questions that Jon answered very quickly. It was less than 1/2 mile walk to the beach, but we drove to the beach that was just a bit farther (1 mile or so) so we could be closer to restrooms for the kids. We enjoyed the hot tub on the cooler nights and even saw deer right in our yard on multiple occasions! My only advice is that if you're staying with a big group and someone is bothered by loud noise, this may not be a great fit for for them. The walls seem to be on the thinner side and the hard floors don't help with insulating sounds. This was not a problem for any of us because we're used to our loud children. Also, due to the size of the house and the time it takes to clean it, do not plan on being able to get in early. Just consider it a bonus if you do! All in all, a great place to stay. It's close to lots of local restaurants and a very short pleasant walk to the beach. Will stay again!

We enjoyed staying at this brand new home! We had two couples and our collective 4 kids and there was plenty of space, it was an easy walk to a couple restaurants, and the beach was easy to get to and from with the use of the wagon. Lake Michigan is beautiful and we had a great time.

Great communication with owners. Beautiful new home with a good lay out. To long of a walk to beach with kids. One hour time difference in Michigan City IN and New Buffalo, MI, which made it a little tough to plan when to eat. House is only about 15 miles away from New Buffalo MI.

Great house close to the beach

Great location - 10 min walk to beach, 5 min walk to a nice cafe with outdoor seating and shady playground. The rental itself has a nice lay-out - big open kitchen, plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and had a dishwasher. There was a washer and dryer in the downstairs closet with supplied detergent. A variety of beach supplies were included with the rental - a big inflatable inner tube, cooler, beach towels, etc. From the perspective of being a parent of small children, the rental was wonderfully devoid of breakable objects, and the bunk beds had side rails. My only critique would be that the bedrooms lacked reading lights/lamps. The front lawn/stoop was still under construction (the rental is brand new!), but we exclusively used the back door (that is where the parking is located). We were excited about the hot tub and grill, but the beach was so beautiful we never used them.

The property was everything that we were looking for in a vacation rental. It is nicely furnished and well-equipped. It was a good walking distance to the great beach. Really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings as well.
