This is a great option for families or groups. It’s a good size house with lots of outdoor space and seating. The view is amazing and it’s lovely to go to sleep to the sound of the waves. The block is large so there was lots of space for our toddler to explore and she was obsessed with the chickens and dogs that wandered through the yard. Michelle and Terry were amazing to deal with. Happy to assist in anyway they could. Lots of pots, pans, cutlery, crockery etc plus a full fridge, microwave and stove, so the set up was good.

While the house is great with lots of space and facilities, it’s a bit rough around the edges. It wasn’t a huge issue, but worth noting. Expect geckos, cockroaches etc I think it’s unavoidable, and we just left them to themselves and it wasn’t a problem. The kitchen set up was great but would really benefit from some basics like oil, salt/pepper, spices etc so visitors who want to take advantage of the kitchen don’t have to buy all that for one or two uses. There wasn’t a bath mat either, so we used a towel. Michelle did bring extra towels for us which was great because we didn’t pack any for the beach, so maybe stock those from the start. Also worth noting is you can’t swim at the shore here. It’s all rocks, so if that’s your dream for your Cook Islands holiday, go to the south of the island instead. View was beautiful though and sunrise is worth getting up for.
