Really friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is a short walk from town and the room was really comfortable. Breakfast was nice and convenient.

Breakfast and location both very good. Staff very helpful. Room facilities good and also very clean. Balcony in upper rooms (separate block) a great place to sit and relax. All in all, a great place to stay.

Lighting could be improved - several bulbs not working, making the room too dark - and there should be plugs in sinks! But these are minor irritations and didn't really detract from our stay.

At the far end of the Old Town peninsula so quieter, away from crowds but with all the nice cafes and restaurants close at hand, and a short walk to take in the magnificent sunsets over the Mekong and enjoy the river traffic from the pier. Big rooms and if I had been in one of the other rooms, a lovely courtyard with pond and seating and wooden balconies. Breakfast each morning was lovely with a variety of choices and fresh fruit. Friendly staff.

Pissibly I was a bit cheap so I was in room on ground floor facing front terrace - so couldn’t really use my balcony or open curtains (this room could use some net curtains so main curtains can be opened during day). The owner was very friendly and I suspect if I’d asked for a change of rooms anfpd one had been available, I may have moved. The other rooms were facing a nice private courtyard so I imagine these would be ideal. Lovely hot shower either way good water pressure, coffee/ tea making facilities provided free.

Family of five with young children. Location is perfect for the quiet and stunning historic peninsula. We were surrounded by temples, local houses and the meeting of the Mekong and Nam Kahn rivers. Great to view the alms giving in the morning. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops close by. The family room was comfortable with huge beds, desk space, good shower, fridge and a terrace. Breakfast had good western and Laos options, with fresh fruit. Short walk to the Le Banneton bakery for fresh baguettes and croissants. Staff were friendly and helpful with local suggestions. We extended an extra night.

WiFi was patchy at best. Expensive services offered, we went direct for much better tour rates.
