Die Lage des Hotels ist einzigartig. Die Zimmer sind umgeben von Grün mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den See. Wir sind sehr ungern abgereist Das Frühstück war eines der besten, das wir auf unserer langen Reise erhalten haben. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker, es gab auch Pupusas. Marylin, die Hausdame, und das gesamte Personal war sehr bemüht, schnell und hilfsbereit. In die Zimmer geht es teilweise steil nach unten und natürlich auch wieder hinauf - die Koffer werden hinuntergetragen, wenn man es wünscht. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank (Minibar), Kaffeemaschine, Kaffe, Weingläser und Korkenzieher vorhanden. Ausreichend Parkplätze. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, auch wenn es konstruktive Mängel gab.

Ich war sehr erstaunt, dass das Hotel erst vor ca. einem Jahr fertiggestellt worden sein soll ... Viele Dinge sehen jetzt schon sehr gammelig aus bzw. wurden nicht richtig fertiggestellt bzw. durchdacht. Es gibt kein Waschbecken, wie es üblich ist, sondern eine Waschfläche. Das Wasser läuft nicht richtig ab und überschwemmt dann das Bad teilweise. Dadurch hat man auf der Waschfläche auch keine Ablagemöglichkeit, da sie nass ist. Es fehlen Ablageflächen im Bad. Der Duschekopf lässt sich nicht so befestigen, dass man sich darunterstellen kann - man muss ihn mit einer Hand festhalten. Die Stühle auf der Terrasse sind rostig, das T-Shirt, das ich zum Trocknen draufgelegt habe, hatte anschließend Rostflecken (mit Klarlack würde das nicht passieren). Ein Wäscheständer für die Badesachen würde Abhilfe schaffen. Im Zimmer fehlen kleine Teppich, damit man den Schmutz von außen bzw. der Terrasse nicht ins Zimmer trägt (Marylin brachte uns auf unsere Bitte zwei Lappen). Die Zimmertüren aus Eisenblech machen beim Schließen Lärm. Ein zweiter Sessel für die zweite Person im Zimmer ist wünschenswert. Ebenso Nachttischlampen, die fehlen. Zwei Kleiderbügel sind zuwenig, auch hier sollten es mehr sein. Rezeption sehr sporadisch besetzt. Da das Hotel nach und nach erweitert wird, ist mit Baulärm zu rechnen. Meine Hoffnung ist, dass die Anregungen bzw. Reklamationen in den neuen Zimmern berücksichtigt werden.

The room and the view were exceptional and the room even had AC which made the stay very pleasant.

The one thing that is the most unacceptable is that the code for the door was a code that was easy to guess (1234) and that it wasn't possible to change it. The reception in the room was very bad and it would have been nice if there was a phone to call the room service. Also the balcony feels a little unsafe because the railings were very basic and didn't have nets that could catch you if you slipped. The sink in the bathroom was a bit disappointing because you had to be very careful not to set the entire bathroom under water.

The location was right outside the capital, and the drive was nice. The room was very clean and they have a nice pool at the bottom of the villas overlooking the lake. The food was good, and the people working there were very friendly. Despite it being Semana Santa, and the staff stretched thin, the people working there did their best to provide excellent customer service. It is very pet friendly, and no one complained about our dog. We could take him anywhere on the premises. It is still under construction as they seem to be adding more villas, it’s already beautiful, once it’s done I am sure it’ll attract many many more people. There’s also a butterfly sanctuary nearby if you wanted to visit.

Lack of safety on handrails, it could be a risk for anyone but more specifically children or pets. It’s a beautiful design/concept but it needs a bit more safety measures. It did not have AC but you don’t need it at night as it gets super breezy and chilly, take a sweater if you want to be on the balcony at night.
