The host of this property was a disgrace. Cancelled our booking ON THE DAY, when we arrived and left us stranded - due to her poor communication. You should not book with this place full stop, very rude staff!

Comfortable room with lounge and washing facilities to share

No breakfast
Large bathroom shower did not work and was trying to be considerate to other guests.
But my room door was very stiff to shut, so had to slam shut.

Neighbourhood was awful, like skidrow in LA.
Suspicious stains in the room. Not sure the aesthetic of jumping off your bed, walking out through patio doors onto the main road works as well.

The room we had was at the front of the house with doors that opened to the outside of the house. The room was clean and well kept.
There is only 1 shared bathroom, and it is located upstairs, I felt that could have disturbed other guests by using the toilet during the night.

Beautifull house ,excellent location facilities great and price reasonable for the room , would reccomend handy for port if you plan on getting a cruise ideal stop over

Very clean environment cleaner than some hotels.
Mostly quiet. Was nice to have access to a kitchen and a fridge. I was able to cook a breakfast on the last morning and I used kitchen utensils which were provided. The shops were not a long walk and they were near the station and a bus stop leading into town centre of Southampton.
The stairs were very creaky . Nit really too much of an issue.

Small room in a rehabbed older house that has 5 bedrooms, it was clean. Access to kitchen use.
No house number, needed to wait some time to get the code and I was to check in within 2 hours. Price went up for 17 Eng pounds from morning to late afternoon, a bit overpriced for the room with shared bath.
