The house was beautiful and clean. Our two and four year olds loved the bunk room. The bedrooms were big and beautifully appointed. We spent most of our time in the pool and the lounge area across from the house. It was the perfect place to be to get out of the sun for a while. The beach was close and easy to get to especially with the six person golf cart. Can’t wait for next year!

The house was beautiful and clean and exactly as the listing described. There was plenty of room for everyone...the pool and hot tub were wonderful.We had an issue with the heating of the pool/hot tub on the second day but they had someone come out within an hour to fix it .The golf cart and bikes were great! And the location to town and the beach were very convenient!I would highly recommend staying here on your next visit !

We really enjoyed staying at this property, and each room had tons of space as well as their own bathroom which was a huge plus for us. Location was also a great spot if you want to ride bikes to Rosemary Beach & Alys Beach, and only a 5 min walk to the beach. These beach areas don't allow much for golf carts so keep that in mind, we ended up renting a Turo for the weekend because of this. Only thing we would want noted is: we asked for the heat to be turned off for the pool but weren't clearly told it would be for the pool AND the hot tub. So just be aware if you don't want one of those heated, it will include both. I will say once we contacted them about the miscommunication, they were flexible and adjusted for us which was good customer service! Only other thing to note is there was plenty of kitchen ware (cups, utensils, pots/pans, etc.) but there were no basics for cooking like: salt/pepper, olive oil, or cooking spray. They provide tons of towels, and some bath supplies, but there was no body wash which would be a nice addition as well. Overall, we would highly recommend this property for the space it had, the bedrooms, bunk room, location and the yard! Definitely kid friendly as well. I would stay here again!

Great place to stay for a large group or family. The weather was not the best for our trip but the heated pool and hot tub was amazing! Our contact for the house was extremely kind and helpful, checking in regularly! Would highly recommend!

There were 7 of us celebrating our collective 40th birthdays and this house was just perfection! It was so nice having all the bedrooms with their own bathrooms. We loved the pool and spa, and all the areas to hang around to chat or watch tv. The dual dishwasher was fab. I got a text the morning of our arrival and had great communication from the host the whole time! The spa wouldn’t heat properly the first night and they had someone out the next morning and the issue was quickly resolved. Would be a great house for kids and families as well- highly recommend!

This home fit us perfectly. The room set up, comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms, and upstairs queen bunk kids suite (plus sofa bed and foosball) were great. The pool area and outside seating, grill, tv, etc. were amazing. The house was fully stocked with kitchen utensils and the two dishwashers were awesome. This home was a dream for our trip and being a 2 minute walk from the beach was the icing on the cake. We received easy instructions for accessing the home and had a direct line to the property management staff if we needed anything for our stay. The EV, bikes, beach chairs and beach/pool toys were so convenient. We hope to return to this home for future trips. We had a phenomenal time staying here and highly recommend it!

Absolutely wonderful! The place is just as described. Plenty of room for all 12 of us. Easy check in and Donna was fabulous with any help we needed throughout the week!

The home was amazing!! We had 17 total people staying with us, infants, elementary aged kids, teenagers and adults. The home worked perfectly. The pool area was wonderful, the outdoor living space was perfect. Small things like beach towels, beach chairs and toys were a great touch! Would highly recommend this property!!

There were so many choices and a little bit of something for everyone. It took us a few tours of the home for everyone to pick what suited them best (from the 50th birthday star of the week to the 12-year-olds), but once selected, we were all satisfied. Once we ventured out to the backyard and discovered the pool, BBQ, and lard fenced-in yard, we knew we had picked the right spot! In the garage, there were enough beach chairs for all of us (a pleasant surprise) and a charging cable for our vehicles. The kitchen was spacious enough to cook and enjoy meals together. The pool was just the size to teach a few little ones to swim and the middle age kiddos to have splash competitions. Highlights of the trip, aside from the great memories, included the wonderful service we received, the comfort of the mattresses (casper), the extra beach towels, the quiet appliances, two dishwashers, the ice maker, a wine fridge, more than enough family-friendly dinnerware, and most of all the proximity to the beach.

Our group of 13 had plenty of room and our kids just loved the top floor dedicated to the kiddos. Having the golfcart was a great perk. We absolutely loved La Joya Azul! We definitely hope to return in the future. The house was beautifully appointed and housed 4 generations of family aging from 5 to 83 years old. Donna with Modern Beach Vacation Rentals was so kind, responsive and helpful. She sent me links on nearby golf courses and sent Luke when we had trouble operating the TV’s and Brian came twice to clean the pool and showed me how to operate the spa app. This house has literally everything you could possibly ask for or need!! We cooked the majority of our meals and the kitchen was large and allowed all of us to gather comfortably to prepare the food. We loved having the beverage/wine cooler as well as the 2 dishwashers and other amenities. The covered outside dining area with the grille, fridge, covered TV sitting area was a bonus. The kids would eat breakfast and head out to the pool while we cleaned up breakfast. Afterwards we headed to the ocean, golfed or went sightseeing and shopping of course. The ocean was incredibly close, just a small walk from the house but the use of the golf cart helped for the older folks. The ocean water was so clear and the sand dollars were plentiful. You couldn’t ask for better weather. The neighbors were great too. We were able to give them our leftovers and unused food to take to the food pantry they volunteered at on Saturdays. What an unexpected blessing! As my mom said, this wonderful trip was one for memory book for sure!!

This property was perfect in every way and accommodated our large, multi-family group with ease. The design and decor was beachy but modern and beautiful; high-end all the way. It was easily walkable to the beach, even for us old folks. But it was still great having the golf cart. It was difficult to return to our normal lives after our amazing vacation. Property owners and managers went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
