The house is quiet, not overcrowded, the shower is great. Lidl is only 10 minutes on foot, there’s a good space to eat in the kitchen. The host is accommodating and kind.

Would be better if the bed sheets smell fresher.

It had all the amenities one could ask for. Tv was good too.

Had heating and broadband speed issues at times. The pillows weren’t good either.

Once I arrived, long day travelling from Oxford I was welcomed and had a lovely, comfortable 3 night stay. Clise to bus services I needed and in a quiet area. Friendly owner.

The address was Farnborough but it was really Locksbottom. Was confusing to find as a traveler.

A friendly host in a quiet safe neighbourhood. I have no trouble as a solo female traveller. Having access to kitchen and the TV was a big bonus. A decent price for the property, and easy bus access into East Croydon, as well as local food shops

On first impressions, I wasn’t happy with the sheets on the bedroom, they had been washed, but had that musty 3-day-in-the-tumble-dryer smell. However, once pointed out they were promptly changed. Shower facilities could have been cleaner, but there were three guests at the time of nice stay.

Very nice host! Great space for an affordable price. It is quiet and clean and the rooms are comfortable. Would stay here again if I was in the area.

I liked the location in that it was 1.5 miles from Orpington station via pleasant, leafy, residential areas. I felt the area safe and secure enough to leave my bicycle locked up outside my room windows on the ground floor. I was provided with everything I needed within a family home, though I primarily required a roof over my head overnight and to leave for work suitably groomed and clean. I had a good restful night's sleep in that there was no noticeable traffic or other noise. The company of the other two tenants I met was pleasant and respectful. I had instant coffee, tea and spiced tea bags, milk sachets and a little kettle within my room.

There was a large drinking water butt in the kitchen, but it was empty. It would have been convenient to have had a hanging area provided with hangers for clothes in my room, though there was plenty of open and closed shelf space.

The owner is fantastic in the sense that he will accommodate you in any way he can. I made a few suggestions to him when I first arrived and he acted upon all of them the next day. The area is nice and quite, the rooms are spacious enough, the facilities are all there for you at a very reasonable price, in my opinion. The internet was also quick with no coverage issues. A cleaner is employed once a week to clean the house and the oven is professionally cleaned once a month. There is tea and coffee in your room, cupboards, shelves and everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Parking is also not an issue and amenities are just round the corner.

Kitchen cleanliness rules could be tightened up a bit. It can get a bit messy mid week with other guests not cleaning up after themselves. However, in saying that there are facilities for you to clean the kitchen. Just wished that people could clean up after themselves.

Location nice quiet area. Bus stops into Orpington close by. Modern house cosy feel room was a comfortable temperature and overlooking nice garden area.

The kitchen from what I can tell can be used by guests but no breakfast is provided by host so was not sure to what extent you could use it better information on this needed.

The sheets were dirty with white staines and STANK of strong men’s aftershave. So much so I felt nauseous all night. The room was dirty and the bin was overflowing with rubbish from other people. The bathroom and fridge were FILTHY. Both looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. I felt revolting even brushing my teeth in the bathroom, let alone showering so had to go without a shower. There was a stench from a mouldy smelling towel in the bathroom too. I could not put my food in the fridge, therefore having to throw away my food. There was constant loud ticking in my room. There were people moving about on the floor above me and floor boards creaking extremely loudly all night. Until approx 2am there was someone coughing, retching and ?vomiting in the bathroom opposite my room which sounded like it was in my room.
