Stunning property

There was a classic bait and switch when we arrived to the hotel and they ‘booked’ our room, shipping us to another ( less prestigious) property. It was clear they booked the room for Saturday night for twice our 6 months earlier booking fee through Booking.com…

Location and views were amazing. Room was beautiful. The service of all the staff was very good. The spa was the best I’ve been to with a heated pool, great sauna, plunge pool and jacuzzi.

No mention of breakfast cost and so when it was charged on top of a premium room rate it felt a little cheeky. It feels like it should have been included.

The property is stunning!

The staff had exceptional manners but that couldn't mask the fact that they were on autopilot. No connection whatsoever with the guests. They take themselves very seriously, too seriously. Can't fault the service, but it was lacking an emotional element.

Location was great. Hotel facilities were great.

Food was terrible (Marius Bar - cannot comment on other two restaurants). Staff was arrogant/rude.

Vastly overpriced

One of the best hotels I ever stayed at. I spent 2 nights at this Hotel with my wife, it was our honeymoon, and everything was perfect. From greeting us at the Hotel gate, guiding us to our beautiful room with the amazing view over the lake and the amazing Spa that they have. The service was honestly exceptional. our room was maintained twice daily with little gifts that they lift over our bed every evening with a small lovely note. Food was excellent. Pricy but totally worth it.

amazing location welcoming and helpful staff restaurant

The hotel is located on the shore of Annecy Lake. The view is spectacular and the location very quiet in winter time. The restaurants are absolutely unique with a very balanced and delicious food. The breakfast is also perfect with lots of tasteful options. The room was very comfortable and cosy. Perfect for a romantic getaway!
