We really enjoyed our stay at the Bitty House. The Peach Barn Winery was great as well. Scott & Jenny are awesome hosts and the winery staff was wonderful. We will return!

The Bitty House was more than expected! Loved the charm inside and out. Perfect space for 3 adults and 1 child. Loved waking up to the surrounding farms, vineyard and hillside. Definitely the place to stay after checking out the local wineries!

Everything is clean and in excellent condition. Jenny was always easy to contact and able to answer and solve all of our inquiries. The Bitty House has everything you need for your comfort. The screened in porch was our favorite place with no bugs and an amazing view.

The Bitty House was very clean, very cute, and the view of the Bald Knob Cross was perfect. The location was perfect for our needs. Highly recommend!

This is a small little place located with some good views. Just out far enough to be quiet, but not far enough from everything.

I stayed as lodging for my daughters wedding @ Havisham House (no dogs). Having a nice, clean, QUIET getaway that accommodated our dogs was perfect! A Short distance from town, we were able to alternate doggy care, w/a brief respite from the flurry. Peace vibes abound.

The Hosts of The Bitty House thought of everything! The house has a great layout, is well furnished with all the comforts of home and has beautiful surroundings. We picniced uner a big tree while looking at rows of grapevines on one side, forest in the back, and across the fields a big farm house that looks like a painting. Loved sitting on the front screened in porch, drinking coffee and watching horses, enjoying the sunrise with Bald Knob Cross in the background. Highly recommend Peachbarn.

This was the perfect place for a mother daughter weekend! Just a short drive after visiting the wineries! We will be back to enjoy more of the property!

The house was nice and perfect for me and my daughters. We were close to the wineries and the beautiful sights of the area. We were in the beautiful Shawnee area, but still close to Carbondale and Carterville:

View of Bald Knob Cross is breathtaking! Perfect accommodations! Close to the Peachbarn Winery which is so enjoyable-entertainment, food and wine is great! The Bitty House is the perfect place to stay! You won’t be disappointed!!

The Bitty House was a perfect place to stay when we hit the Shawnee Wine Trail. The house is very clean and there are some nice little amenities like board games and movies. If you are looking for a country escape that is not too far away from town, this is it! It is also really close to a winery.

We loved the area, it was so quiet. The house was cozy, and perfect for those after lunch naps. We were a very short drive from several wineries, great places to eat, and great hiking and outdoor fun. The screened in porch is great for breakfast and those beautiful evenings when the sun goes down just right. This place is great to slow the pace from a busy life.

The house itself is well kept and well furnished. It's a cute little house that served our needs perfectly. As long as you know about the lack of internet connectivity prior to arriving, it actually can be considered a boon and an excellent excuse to disconnect from all the daily distractions.

Loved the Bitty House. It was small, but provided 3 beds and 1 1/2 bathrooms. There is another house behind it, which I thought we had as well, but that was not the case as it was rented out to someone else. I may have missed that during the reservation process. Great location and the house was very nice. Would stay there again.

This property is the perfect place if you want a place in the countryside that is close to town and a winery. It was very clean and there were nice amenities in the kitchen. It was a great place to stay to do the wine trail, and having a winery nearby made for a nice end to our day. We also enjoyed drinking coffee on the screened-in porch in the morning.
