We loved the property! Perfect home away from home. The location was perfect! Right on the beach, near the North Shore. Turtles napping on the beach in the evening. We were close to the activities we wanted to enjoy. Grocery stores close by. We would choose this again!

The location was perfect. It would take an average of 45 fast minutes to any part of island. I would have given all 5 stars but it was under construction on one end and a pipe was broken so we did not have water for 24 hrs. Appliances need to be upgraded like the microwave. The gym had some good equipment but they also need upgrade and working machines. To sum up this place could be a jewel on the island!

We loved the location! Closer to the activities we wanted to do like the Polynesian Cultural Center and Kualoa Ranch without the congestion of Honolulu. Beautiful sunrise, and our own strip of beach. We did have a few repairs we did like replacing a smoke detector battery, but it was easy to do and management was easy to talk to.

Exactly as advertised. Beautiful accommodations and great location.

Pat’s at Punaluu was an amazing condo for our family of 8! The pictures do not do this rental justice. It’s peaceful and the views are breathtaking! Great communication from the host during the rental process, leading up to our vacation, and during our vacation. Definitely visit Kaya’s Market when you are here… great food, and the ladies in the market are friendly and sweet! You are just minutes away from the Polynesian Cultural Center. Plenty of food trucks around to sample the local cuisine. I wish I could give this listin 10 stars!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay but as a Texan, I was not prepared for the lack of A/C. By the third day, we acclimated to the "island AC" and it was fine. Couldn't recommend a better location or better amenities. Will stay again---just might night book it in the heat of summer.

Dave's penthouse eas the chill, relaxed space we needed after a a week in Waikiki. We were able to experience a whole new side of Hawaii and really relax. The penthouse was everything we could ask for, the ocean could be heard from every room and the Tradewinds kept us cool. Dave was easy to contact and was helpful and a delight to rent from. 10/10 will be back again.

If for no other reason, stay here for views. It doesn’t matter if you love mountains or ocean views. This condo has both. This property was terrific for our group of 5 adults. Enough space and sitting room for all of us. David was great at responding quickly and concisely. The setting is rural so you don’t have the city lights and noise. Beach and pool are right outside your door.

The owner was very nice, and the property is in a prime and beautiful location. It is just steps away from the beach, and there is a pool that the kids liked to swim in after dinner. I would definitely stay here again. If you rent a car, there are no limits to where you can drive to. Loved Oahu -- so many different things to do.

Great place! Beautiful view and beach! Easy check in, clean, good location, everything we needed, including things for the beach were in the condo. I would recommend staying here and would stay here again.

Overall this was a great place to stay.. The condo felt a little worn and there was a little bit of mold in the bathrooms and kitchen. The balcony glass doorways need some repair so you can open and close them. One thing to note about the online listing is that it wasn't clear where the bathroom was upstairs. We thought it might be in one of the bedrooms. Other than that it was a great location and place to stay.

This was one of the best VRBO vacations we have ever had. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent at Pat"s at Punaluu.

This is a great property and our family enjoyed staying here. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep, the bedding and towels were great and the washer and dryer made things very nice. We absolutely will stay here again.

We had 6 adults and two toddlers. It was a perfect location on the beach for kids to play. Lots in the area for adults to do. The kitchen had everything we needed. The views were phenominal and it was great having 3 bedrooms.

5 friends trip-condo is right on the beach. Had a great time swimming and hanging out. Condo had everything we needed, was comfortable and spacious. The only draw-back was the third bedroom was stuffy and hot. Fans helped make it work Property Mgr came by to put sliding door screens on before we had to ask We had a great time and would rent this condo again

Dave’s place is gorgeous! Very secure with security guards on site. The stairs to the second floor are steep and tiled, so be careful climbing them. But I would be happy to stay there again anyway. The property was right on the beach. The washer and dryer were so helpful! There was plenty of swimming and beach equipment available for our whole family of 9. We did take turns, but we never felt like we didn’t have enough. Lots of boogie boards, sand toys, and even a few small life jackets. The sound of the ocean through the screened walls of the lanai made me feel like I was practically camping on the beach. Amazing sunrises we were able to enjoy right from our bedroom window. There was a turtle hanging out on the beach most of our trip too! I highly recommend Dave’s property for a lovely family getaway.

David was so wonderful. He was so attentive to our needs. The house was amazing. The experience priceless. The view from the property is like a paradise. The mountain on one side and the beach on the other side. Fresh air surrounded us. The neighbors were very respectful. All the tourist attractions that the North Shore offers are so near. I definitely loved it. I will come back next year to visit. David thank you so much. You are such an amazing person!!!!!!

We had just come from a stay with another host from $#*!!. Our previous host told us at 4:30 a.m. that they had an escrow agent coming over at 8:00 a.m. and she needed us to vacate at first light. In a panic, I contacted Dave about moving our food over early to his condo and he graciously accommodated us even though it wasn't his fault or problem. He gave us a special code to get our food in the condo while the cleaners worked. Once we arrived for our check in time, the new code didn't work but Dave was right on top of it and let us in remotely. He was so responsive and kind and helpful- everything you could hope for in a host. The property is perfectly located between the PCC and K. Ranch. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable and accommodated all 8 in our party. As others have mentioned, the trade-winds were amazing at keeping things cool. On one night the winds were still so we turned on all the fans which worked just as well. The place was also clean and a broom and small vacuum were available to help keep things tidy during your stay if you're like me and need things to stay clean. The beach was awesome with some healthy bits of coral to explore while snorkeling. My daughter did get stung by a jellyfish but that can happen anywhere on the island. The price was great. 10 out of 10 I'd stay here again. Thanks so much Dave for hosting our family of 8. Mahalo!!

We were so grateful to finally be able to get back to the island! From the amazing breeze that always kept the condo comfortable to the breathtaking sunrise we watched every morning this place was perfect. We enjoyed coffee on the lanai and the protected area to snorkel in (furthest out I’ve ever gone). It felt like swimming in a tank. We had everything we needed and were in a great location that was peaceful and allowed for ample space to spread out on the beach. It is a little further away from Honolulu & Waikiki so keep that in mind if you plan on spending all your time in the city. But if you’re a tropical paradise country girl like me Pats is a great choice. Hopefully we’ll be back again next year!

Private beach. Quiet location. Very spacious unit. Well decorated.

Even though our travel plans were affected by current world events, Dave was very good to work with during Covid-19. Communication was excellent at all times. Highly recommended.

Great beach front property with a nice grassy area between the building and the beach. Perfect beach for a family as the water is calmer due to the breaker reefs out a mile from shore. Lots of beach toys, boogie boards and one set of snorkeling mask and fins provided. We loved that we didn't have to drive a long way to enjoy a day at the beach... it's right here. Also great they have 24/7 security to help you feel safe. Lots of fans... however on a few nights without wind it would have been nice to have air conditioning. Everything you need in the kitchen is provided...you just have to buy groceries. Clean place, the only exception being under the couch cushions and the floor under the couch (which we noticed when retreating toys for our toddlers). Also the edges of the floor could use a good vacuum. Real cozy beds and great linens and towels. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was exactly as listed! Beautiful views, quiet from the busy city life and the best snorkelling a family could ask for! Turtles and many fish everyday! Close to all needed amenities and very tasty shrimp truck across the street! Perfect 2 weeks as it only took 35-45 minutes to Waikiki when we wanted to shop or surf! Absolutely recommend to anyone! David was so easy to work through and checked in during the stay to ensure we had everything we needed😃

This is a great sized 3 bedroom condo, with an amazing ocean view! (and a lovely mountain view from the back bedroom ). It is quite well equipped with everything you may need- kitchen equipment, beach towels etc. ( no dishwasher though).Dave was very responsive to any questions and excellent to deal with! Because we had never been to Hawaii before we weren’t familiar with the North Shore when we booked and I’m not sure that it was the best choice for us. There are no dining options within walking distance other than food trucks and a small convenience store with a takeout counter. Also, going for a walk other than the beach is not easy as the road is narrow and really busy. The beach is beautiful to walk on but fairly short. The water is warm and not too rough so nice for swimming and playing in! It’s a great base for exploring the North Shore, but you definitely need a car.
