Was a beautiful property. Very serene and peaceful. Just what we needed for a getaway from a hectic lifestyle in Sydney. Definitely top of our list, and will be returning!

Loved our stay at the lane retreat. Staff were lovely. Atmosphere was great. However would not get the romance package again $85 for a $25 bottle of wine and some rose petals didnt seem worth the price. Next time will just go with the room. The room was clean and loved the bathroom! Would definitely be back.

Very nice quiet and private location. Beautiful view from accommodation. Good facilities- huge bathroom, very comfortable bed. Lovely continental breakfast. Convenient location to all wineries in Hunter area. No downside and just shared a couple of small improvements with manager. Really enjoyable stay - will definitely come again.

The adorable studio rooms which looked directly to the Broken Back range was unforgettable, as we arrived at sunset and were fortunate to take in the serene panoramic views of the ranges.
The accommodation was pristine clean and very comfortable, and the complimentary continental breakfast was of higher quality and was the perfect way to end our stay.
I would stay at property again.

Loved our stay here! It’s quite cozy but perfect for a romantic getaway. The room and facilities were super nice. I also really liked the check out time of 11am. The only criticism I had was that check in isn’t until 3pm and they didn’t let us know after that time which room was ours and the pin. Other than that I would say it was perfect

The stay was amazing, view was great. Quiet and clean. One of the best places we have stayed. Breakfast was great as well and accommodated our dietary requirements.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lane retreat for our anniversary. The room and view was absolutely amazing also had great amenities. Location of the retreat was very central. We would definitely be coming back here and would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the lane way retreat the bedroom was so amazing the bathroom so big with a double shower head and double sink. The area was so serene we wished we could of stayed longer. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

The check in experience was unique and the room was in excellent condition with a good view. All the amenities were great as advertised. They also had breakfast ready in the room for us. Very comfortable stay!

Love this place! The room/cabin is great-it’s comfortable and very thoughtfully appointed. The surroundings are very quiet and it was lovely to watch the sunset from the veranda. Lots of kangaroos around, too.
I couldn’t really rate the service because it is all done remotely, although the person who called to get more details (including any dietary requirements for breakfast) was lovely.

Quiet location, no children, warm pool and lovely sunset!
Believed it part of Bimbadgen estate.
On arrival the wine glasses were unclean, but one phone call and they were replaced and we were given a bottle of the local sparkling as an apology.
The pantry shop had run out of crackers too!
Down side; Bus arranged to attend A Day on the Green, when we had booked accommodation to be close to venue, were told we couldn’t walk.(3km)
Less than 5min bus trip to get there, but over an hour return trip!!
Very disappointing ending to a wonderful Day on the Green.

Fabulous quality accommodation with modern facilities. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great location amongst all the wineries and lots of high quality local dining options also. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing place to stay for the weekend! It really is a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. Very convenient and close to popular wineries! The views were fantastic, the breakfast was filling and the bed was very comfortable! We can't wait to go back for another getaway. I was finally able to switch off and just relax here! This place is a must stay!

Great location for a couple's long weekend. Great night view of the stars, absolute silence, and gorgeous sun rises. The showers are amazing, great for start relaxing after a long day exploring the vineyards around.

Brand new beautiful studio villa. Loved the bathroom. Ask for a villa in front of the dam so you can have uninterrupted views of the mountains.

One of the best properties I've stayed at in the Hunter Valley. Lovely calming outlook with nature surrounds. The sound proof between villas is so good you can't hear anything. It is really hot though in summer and the air con is too cold and directional. The bed and bathroom is amazing. The breakfast is generous, and the wine is incredible!

The staff and house keeping were a amazing although the final touches in the room itself really let it down mainly the exhaust fan in the bathroom covered in dirty hand prints and pencil marks from a rushed installation perhaps? Not what you want to be staring at after a long day of wine tasting.

Elegant and well-thought-out studio retreat. Simply adored them. Wonderful view from the room. Beautiful location in Hunter Valley that is must-see. Although I came for the Hunter Valley Gardens Christmas Flights, my stay at The Lane Retreat was also a wonderful experience. Rooms are exceptionally clean, thoughtful amenities are provided, and the atmosphere is serene. Definitely will revisit this place shortly.

What a stunning location in the Hunter valley. The views are incredible and the properly was exceptionally clean. It has a very new feel with huge windows to admire everything around as the pool was picture perfect and nicely spaced out. We have recommended this place to all our friends in Sydney. Will definitely look them up for our next trip to Hunter!
