The apartment is clean and comfortable, had everything we needed - privacy, utilities, grill, pool and sauna outdoors. The host (Matteo) was very warm and kind, also helped us out with some tips on what so visit and see nearby. We'll definitely come back!

It was easy to find even though our plane had been delayed for over 2 hours and we ended up arriving at night in the dark. Matteo met us at the meeting point and we followed him to the apartment. It look a few days to get used to the narrow roads and the driving but the views were amazing and there were so many restaurants to choose from. It is a beautiful part of the world and we hope t return some day with our bikes in tow.

Superb accommodation, pool, jacuzzi (didn’t use sauna). Apartment was huge, clean and everything you need for a holiday. Pool was brilliant although some of the beds need fixing, the sauna was great too but the steps up to it were a bit wobbly. The steps up to the apartment from the main road through Griante was a bit challenging, for me anyway, but after a couple of wines you don’t notice it and there’s a lovely bar half way up, for a glass of water of course. We arrived on a Sunday and the supermarket was closed, shopped local which was a bit more expensive, the supermarket was great though, had everything you need. We went trips to Bellagio, Lake Laguna (Switzerland), Como and hired a speed boat for 2 hrs on the Lake, all of which were amazing. Matteo was really nice and very helpful, recommending local places to visit and things to do, unfortunately we only spent a week there so didn’t have time to do all we wanted. Although this was a stunning place to stay there were one or two silly details which very slightly let it down. For example: the cushions on the sofa in the lounge area were shabby and grubby, the kitchen tap dripped continually, the handle on the main door to the apartment was broken, the clock needed a new battery in in it, so nothing that spoilt our holiday in this beautiful place, just a lack of attention to detail.
