Everything was amazing. The area to get around Victoria and up island was spot on. Beautiful suite with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, was so nice having laundry. Would highly recommend this suite. We only have one minor issue, the tub and bathroom sink drain really slow.

Close to everything to see in the area. Quiet. Private.

Everything was clean, and as advertised. Good sized rooms, big screen tv. Felt like home.

We had a wonderful stay at The Bear’s Den and, for several weeks, it became our home away from home. It’s amazing how quickly we were able to settle in, relax and enjoy the suite which is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with kitchen supplies and all the daily essentials. The suite is bright, spacious and airy, with all the comforts of home. It is very quiet, too and situated in a beautiful neighborhood located just a 5 minute drive to area restaurants, retail, etc. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and very responsive anytime we reached out. Would highly recommend this property to anyone, and would definitely stay here again in future.

Property manager was accommodating. Rental was as pictured. Location was conveniently located for shopping and parks. Kitchen was well equipped and room had a large screen tv with good variety of stations.

Of course properties up Bear Mountain require personal transport to get to any non-residential amenities. The price though is significantly lower than a hotel on the inner harbour so perhaps worth the drive. Parking easy here and dedicated to the property. The suite was extremely well kitted for any conceivable need. If I could change anything I would remove much of the kitschy decor items to recover some surface on which to put down my coffee cup, my makeup, my personal items. A word of caution that there is a major development being built at the edge of the community and construction vehicles are presently using the roadways around the VRBO Mon-Fri. Host and hostess very sociable and accommodating, gave us our space and privacy.

This is the best homestay that I ever experienced. My heart is deeply touched by the owner’s kindness and thoughtfulness. They prepared everything that you could think of. The quality of the linen is top of the line. The design and decoration is so pleasant that I’ll definitely come back again or recommend it to anyone. Many thanks to Ben and Heather! ❤️😄👍🙏🤝👏

Excellent apartment equipped with all that you need.

The 1 bedroom unit at bear mtn community exceeded expectations. It was well designed, tastefully decorated and contained all the toiletries needed. It even had a stand up mixer for baking enthusiasts ! A hidden gem and walking distance to westin , golfing and restaurant. Thank for you Heather and Ben for a lovely week.

A perfect place to get away from the crowds and get a little work done. The space was clean, the bed was comfy and the wifi was great!

Perfect place for us on a quick trip to Victoria area. Super comfortable bed, nice linens/towels, had soap,shampoo and conditioner. Kuerig coffee machine. Would be nice to have a couch for watching tv or visit space. But it was very nice and well taken care of. Thank you!
