The cabin is pretty amazing. It was clean and well stocked with everything you need. The owner is on top of everything and made the stay even better. Pay attention to the sign saying 4X4 needed to drive down to the cabin. We had two 4X4s and the one without AT tires had some difficulty getting out with a bit of snow on the ground. There is ample parking up by the road. Don’t let that discourage you from staying at the cabin because it is well worth it! 5 stars for sure!

From start to finish Juan was attentive and personable. Check in couldn’t have been more smooth! After saying that, the pictures don’t come close to giving this place true justice. Furniture, decorations, etc are simply first class! Amenities were amazing from bathrooms to coffee bar and kitchen utensils. The deck is awesome and draws you to spend more time outside than in. We saw deer, elk, and turkey up close almost daily. For the price, you’d be hard pressed to find a better place for families or friends to get together for quality time in Ruidoso. You will want to be aware of the steep gravel driveway. My two friends and I are all seniors and we navigated it with little trouble but if you want to pull your vehicle down, it does require a 4-wheel drive. I’d say do not let that get in your way to enjoy this amazing place!

We spent a full week at this property. It was five star with just 2 caveats (see below). It has 4 bedrooms/3 baths, a spacious open-concept kitchen and living area, and air conditioning throughout. Every room is immaculately clean and generously furnished. The kitchen has all new dishes, glassware, utensils, knives, gourmet pots and pans, and bakeware. The baths have lots of fluffy white towels, makeup removal cloths, hair dryers, and ample toilet paper. The new washer and dryer are in the huge master bath, which works surprisingly well. The master mattress is very comfortable, the pillows are good, and you can charge your devices bedside. The back deck is heaven, with a swing, grill, heater, comfy seating, and 6 hummingbird feeders. We spent hours there, watching the hummers and enjoying the sunsets. One day we saw a wild horse out back. Overall the cabin is located at the end of a dead end street and is blissfully quiet and peaceful. It is close to Grindstone Lake and hiking, with easy access to dining and Cornerstone Bakery. We had a great time overall. Two caveats. The front driveway is loose gravel and very steep. You cannot roll a suitcase on it. My 70yo hiker did well; I nearly fell twice. Stick to the terraced steps. What goes down to the cabin must come back up to the car, so plan well and pack light. And on a personal note, we discovered two deer heads in the living area. As Lifelong Bambi Pro Lifers, we would rather not. That's just us.

We had a great time staying in this beautiful home! The hosts attend to every detail and the home is super clean. The views from the back balcony are beautiful and we watched turkeys and deer. The balcony has great seating and we spent a lot of time out there. This is a very comfortable house and will be our go-to from now on! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

First of all, Jain is very accommodating and helpful! The house is exactly as it is pictured, but better! The views were beautiful! There was a very friendly (hungry) deer who let us pet her. Hummingbirds were always at the feeders! The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The house is spacious but cozy. The bedrooms were all beautifully decorated and the beds were comfortable. Hot tub was very relaxing as well. There is nothing Juan has left out. They only thing you need to bring is the food and family/friends. My family and I would stay here again!

This is a great place to bring the whole family with plenty of room and everything you need and then some. Will definitely be back to this wonderful cabin with great views and location.

Amazing . As soon as you walk in it smells wonderful inside . Amenity’s are nice. Everything you need is available . Cleanliness is good. Fresh bed sheets . Beautiful cabin . Back yard was lovely specially early in the morning seeing the sun rise . The view was spectacular. It’s so much better in person than in pictures . Celebrated my husbands birthday and he likes it so much he wants to bring our whole family for thanksgiving . I wish there were more towels in the bathroom but other than that wow . The host was so lively and kind too !! Thank you so much . Heads up you do need a 4 wheel drive if you want to park in front of the home .

Was such a great experience staying here. Everything went better than expected and the house was very clean and nice. We will definitely be staying here again next year!

Don't be fooled by the the pictures, the house is even prettier than what's posted! We've stayed at many VRBOs and this was the nicest by far! House was very clean, kitchen had everything (and more!) we needed, back patio was gorgeous and roomy, .........The hosts responded very quickly to all our questions. We will definitely stay at this property again.
