Location was great! Staff was very nice and polite.
There was no space around the pool to sit only a shrub that made it difficult to get in or out. We had a dog with us and he could not relax on the edge.

This hotel is located at playa del Carmen at the start of Santa Teresa. Beach is a few steps away and plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops, tours in the immediate vicinity. Hotel has a lovely feel to it, small and personal. Breakfast is served in the courtyard in a very relaxed setting. Staff very helpful and willing. We stayed an extra night as we enjoyed the setting so much. Definitely the best sunsets we experienced in Costa Rica. Sea prefect for experienced surfers. We took local bus to Cobano and transferred to a taxi for Montezuma. I would highly recommend visiting its waterfall and climbing up to the top.
The main road in Santa Teresa is dusty and unpaved. There is dust everywhere. There is no path to walk on. We were reluctant to walk too far. It is ok if you have a car .

The check in was very thorough and he even gave us a room a little early-we had 2 reserved. Very very clean and had all amenities for the shower.
Breakfast was great and the area for eating was well maintained and outdoors. They also loved my little dog! Def stay there again

The hotel was great, clean and the staff super friendly. But above all, its location: 3 minutes walking to the beach and very close to restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets

Staff and Warren were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome, with excellent service. Felt very comfortable and would happily recommend to anyone we know heading to Santa Teresa.

Breakfast was awesome! And so were the staff. Santa Teresa overall was a little hard to get to, so I'm super thankful for a nice hotel like this. The room itself was very comfortable and clean. Thankful that this place has AC!
There's no elevator, so you do have to take up your luggage if you're staying above the 1st floor. Also, the room key is old-school, not electronic, But that's not a big deal.

Location was good, even though it is not beachfront but it is really close, 2 min walk. Breakfast was good and Warren and his team was amazing, they exceeded my expectations.
Doors need to be locked using keys, really old fashioned and it is complicated dealing with a key when you go outside, not to lose it.
The queen bed was really old, it is not pleasant for couples (you know).

Good location, nice serviceminded staff, comfortable bed, safetybox and a cozy breakfast area. It is quiet at night, so you sleep very well.
I recommend this hotel if you want a nice comfortable stay in the centre of Santa Teresa. It is close to the beach, restaurants and coffee shops.

extremely cold AC at the reception made it quite chilly feeling when you got inside.
