Location quiet, safe and easy parking, local to the cruise port. Having a dowstairs toilet separate from the upstairs one too. Spacious bedrooms. Great communication. Outside garden area to sit for any smokers, and ashtray included. Milk and biscuits, tea, coffee on arrival. A great chippy around the corner (prefer cash).
The place is a bit tired and the upstairs beds need new mattresses, they've definitely had their day, sadly. The chairs around the dining table a bit cramped and very heavy to move. Lounge had the dining table in it, making the space feel small and not cosy and relaxing, just functional only.

Everything was as described. It was easy to get in, and there was enough kitchen equipment. The shower was hot, and towels soft. Beds in back bedroom were uncomfortable but others were fine. Very kind of the host to leave some sweets and biscuits for us. The house is in a quiet road and it was easy to park outside.
Needed a towel in the downstairs cloakroom.

Good location, nicely decorated. Biscuits nice touch
It was nice but we struggled to get regular channels like BBC etc. Definitely needed bigger towels. Bedding in downstairs room - duvet didn’t fit cover so uncomfortable to sleep in. Downstairs toilet blocked and the sink bubbled when you flushed.

The bedrooms are lovely. The hosts seem very good and very communicative.
The living area is too small for the amount of people it can sleep. Living room/ dining area too small, we couldn’t all even relax on the sofa. The kitchen wasn’t overly clean.

its a very big , beautiful , clean house with big tastefully decorated bedrooms ,living room dinning and garden . there are lots of attractions for kids in the back garden. the host was superb she went out of the way to make our stay comfortable .there were plenty of snacks on arrival . the travel cot was provided . cant thank enough for making our one night stay memorable.
there was nothing not to like in this house . everything was perfect

Location and cost
Not clean and the back garden full of dangerous kids toys old bbq. Old trampoline.... rubbish lying about.
Be better just being an empty back garden

Good rooms with lots of bed options. Clean and comfortable. Lovely quiet area and good location. 5-10 minutes to Shirley high street and a 40 minute walk into Southampton.
We had no tea towels or kitchen scissors. Could also have done with some waste paper bins in the bedrooms and hand towels in the bathroom.
