The photos on the listing for this property do not do it justice. The view is absolutely stunning and something we will never forget. Communication with the property manager was good and he brought us whatever we needed and gave us recommendations for things on the island. We would love to come back to Sie La Vie!

Hard to believe it can be better than the pictures, but it was! Kitchen well stocked, coolers available, lots of space (in & out), beautiful pool, ... Vincent was very helpful.

When we walked on this property, we felt like we were celebrities. It was top notch. Such beautiful views! Lots and lots of windows to catch that ocean breeze, everything you need in the kitchen (except condiments) and speakers surrounded all around the deck to get surround sound. Vincent was so so kind. He met us whoever we requested and took us to the property and gave us a grand tour. The pool overlooking the ocean is magical. The driveway is steep so make sure you have 4wd/AWD. Everything was about 15 minutes away. Make sure you download the island map if you use google maps so you can still navigate with GPS. Spotty coverage for your gps here. Wifi at the house worked perfectly fine. Make sure you give your accurate number of people going because rooms rates are based on double occupancy. There were 7 of us, so that automatically got us all 4 bedrooms and payment was included in the initial payments. Conserve water because you could get charged if you go over. The island is in need of water so just be respectful of that. You have AC in your bedroom at no extra cost, but not the common area. That's an extra cost because electricity is also high priced. We just opened all the windows I the living room to get the breeze to come in. It was still warm but not too bad. LOTS of care and love has been put into this home. It's beautiful inside and out.

The home was amazing, it’s better In person if you can believe that. Vincent the property manager was awesome. It was the owner who we had issue with. The listing stated the the house is 4 bedrooms. We paid in full months before our arrival. It was my birthday celebration. We had 5 people, org it was 4 but we had a last minute add on. However when we arrived we were told that we would only have access to 2 bedrooms because it’s based on “couples” and double occupancy!!! So the owner assumes that you want to sleep together without understanding if you are couples or not. The owner told my group that it was in the contract that was emailed to me the day before we arrived. We took issue with this because as long as I have rented on VRBO which has been years we have never had an experience where you think you are paying for the complete house but then when you arrive you are told you have access to only two bedrooms of a 4 bedroom house. So in order for us to have access to the other 2 bedrooms which were locked we had to pay an additional 1350.00 dollars. There are some many rules in that contract which should definitely be sent out before you pay for your stay. Rules in reference to water use, air conditioning, which is only in the bedrooms, and others like expecting the guest to take the trash out to a trash facility which is at the front of the subdivision, (we didn’t rent a car we had a driver and he was appalled that we asked if we could put trash in his vehicle). The owner needs to provide trash bins on the property. I would caution anyone renting this house to request the contract before you pay. I have never had this experience before in all my years of renting on VRBO.

Breathtaking views ! St Thomas is a great island. Fantastic food every dining experience we chose . The weather was very humid so we stayed in ! We played card games , Jenga, phone games, made dinner and danced! Family is 1st . Thank you for your lovely property.

We had a great time. People that helped us with the property were awesome. This property is one that we will definitely consider returning to. My kids, wife and family we traveled with all have said how much they would like to return and we have friends that have asked us all about it. This is a great stay and a happy place to visit.

Amazing views from every window. Rooms off main house provide great privacy. Pool and decks provide great outdoor space. Speakers through out house and outdoors was a nice touch. Easy drive to Megan’s bay.

Our party of 8 adults hated to leave this beautiful villa after staying for a week. The views were spectacular. The villa was so clean, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The sunrises were awesome. Vincent was always available to answer our questions. Would definitely revisit.

This home is amazing as are the views from every room of the house. The home is very spacious and full of all the amenities you would have in your own home. The appliances and furnitures are all of high quality and the outdoor lounge chairs are very comfortable. We used the pool heater(in February) and it was very comfortable. Vincent made check in very easy and was available for any questions or anything we needed during the stay.

We had a wonderful time, the house is absolutely terrific. The view is very stunning. Recommend renting a Jeep or any small vehicle that sits up high off the ground so you can get down the driveway, we chose to park on the road and walk down, which was fine. Vincent the host was there to escort us to the house and answered any question that we had. Will definitely love to stay there again.

I thought the property was very nice. The view is simply the best I have had in staying in St. Thomas nearly ten years. Construction noise from the site next door put a damper on some of our mornings as the new place is quite close.

We can't wait to return. Christine's home at Mahogany Run, St. Thomas, is over-the-top beautiful. The home is fully renovated and updated with a glorious 180+-degree view of the ocean from the living room; a beautiful, fully appointed kitchen; four magnificent bedrooms with high-end, large full baths; a magnificent pool and a very large outdoor patio. I can't imagine a home with a better view. The sunrise and sunsets are inspirational and will make your heart sing! Highly, highly recommended. PS. And we loved Vincent, the property manager.

The best part of our trip, by far, was the property we stayed in. We parked on the street because it was too hard to get in and out of the driveway. Other than that it was perfect

We brought our 19, 15 and 13 year old children for our first visit to the islands. From the moment we arrived Vincent was ready to accompany us to the villa with a stop at the grocery store. We followed him to the house which was a completely blessing. The roads in Saint Thomas are dark and can be a bit rough. The house is located in a beautiful gated community and the pictures listed are beautiful and in person it is even more amazing. Very warm and inviting and every amenity is available. We enjoyed being there and couldn’t wait to get back each night to cook dinner and enjoy the pool as well as the house. We visited Saint John via the car ferry 2 different times with our beach towels and beach chairs provided with the home. The hole has a private gate and feels very secure. Megan’s Bay, and the best coffee around Northern Grind, were just a short drive. We will definitely be back soon and can not recommend it enough. Thank you Christine and Vincent for the dreamy vacation home.

Sea La Vie is absolutely breathtaking. The house was incredibly clean and the property manager, Vincent was amazing. He went above and beyond to answer our questions and assist us with anything we needed during our stay. I highly recommend booking this home, but you will need a car to get around unless you want to take taxis everywhere. The roads are very dark in the community and a bit scary to drive so keep that in mind.

From the minute we booked our trip and before we even set foot on the island, the property manager was in contact to guide us through the rental process. Whole experience was smooth, uncomplicated, stress free. Our only responsibility was to enjoy ourselves. House Manager, Vincent, is a consummate professional. He thinks of everything and is available at all times for any questions that may arise. The pictures don’t do the property justice. It is absolute livable luxury. The VIEWS…..rent this house! You won’t regret it.

This place has an awesome view that just can’t be beat. The property is beautiful, clean, and modern. The pool is perfect as you outlook over the carribean sea. It’s location is central and very near Magen’s beach. The property has everything you need including towels and chairs, and Vincent (property manager) is awesome. You definitely have to rent a jeep as taxis often don’t come out this far, and the driveway (like most on the island) is a steep narrow hill. Bring bug spray … you get big everywhere on the island. Overall, one of our best vacations. You can,t go wrong with this property.

We spent five days at Sea La Vie.. first i have to commend the property manager Vincent.. our flight delayed numerous times causing him to wait for us the majority of the time at the airport.. he still greeted us with a smile and was even kind enough to take us to a location to get some food.. because our flight was delayed we were unable to get our rental car until the next day.. again it was Vincent to the rescue. He came and got us from the villa and took us to retrieve our rental car. His beautiful and kind personality and warm smile were enough to make all the troubles melt away.. onto the property.. WOW is all i can say.. it is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The views are out of a magazine.. the property is even MORE beautiful than the pictures (i know that seems impossible).. the only thing i will say is if you have small children (we traveled with our 5 yr old twins) make sure they know the importance of not touching any doors or windows and not going down to the pool without an adult or older sibling as the steps are pretty steep.. Our kids had no issues and we fully enjoyed the views and the beautiful pool! Thanks to the previous reviewer who recommended the North Side Grind for coffee, pastries and breakfast items .. it was so yummy! I also recommend going on the ferry (only a 15 min boat ride) to St John as the beaches there were sooo beautiful and we liked them a lot more than the ones on st thomas. Also if you go to St John you MUST stop at the Roti King for beef batties and Curry and Roti ( Vegetable, Goat, Beef) they dont call him the king for no reason. All in all this was a beautiful, peaceful, amazing vacation and we have Mr. Vincent to thank for that and the beautifully upkept Sea La Vie! We cant wait to return

Sea la vie was a great place to stay. The views were unbelievable and the villa itself was fantastic. Plenty of room for the kids and great for the adults to relax. The pool was well maintained and the house in general was beautiful. My favorite part of the trip was meeting Mr. Vincent- he was a great host and so very helpful. Will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at Sea La Vie in St. Thomas. Christine was very helpful and responsive during the booking process. Vincent, the property manager, was also responsive, punctual, and available to help with any questions/issues. The villa was well appointed, very clean, and comfortable. We loved the outdoor space, pool, and best of all the views! The beds were very comfortable too and the wifi and smart TVs were a big hit with the kids. I would recommend this villa for families with older kids as it is perched up high. We had some issues with the fridge and dishwasher but Vincent was able to get it sorted for us. We look forward to visiting again someday!

The property is immaculate and has everything you need for the perfect family vacation. The beds were all comfortable and the linens and towels very soft. The furniture is high end and also very comfortable. The house manager Vincent picked us up at the airport and responded to all calls/texts immediately. The views from the house are breathtaking, we enjoyed the sunrise most mornings and dinner out on the beautiful patio most evenings. The property is 15 minutes from Red Hook and 5-7 minutes to Magen’s Beach. You will need a car (rent at least a month in advance) because the hills are wonderful for a workout but it is not walkable to any restaurants or shops, though they are a quick 5-10 minutes away. I highly recommend Northside Grinder (4 min drive) for breakfast pastries, coffees and protein smoothies. We spent our vacation poolside and fit in a few excursions for fishing and snorkeling. St. John is a 15 min drive to the ferry and a 20 min ride across the water. There is so much to see and do on both islands. We will be back.

We just returned from the trip a week back and words fall short to describe the view of the home and how all of us miss it terribly!! The home was maintained very well with modern interiors !! The kitchen was well stocked with required utensils and needed appliances. We had little trouble here and there with refrigerator and dishwasher but I would say the view, the pool and the home made up for it!!! The property manager Vincent was very courteous, helpful, understanding and answered all of our questions and went above and beyond. The restaurant recommendations from Vincent were very thoughtful as well. If you come across this property I would recommend to book it immediately! Again the view and home was outstanding!!!!

We had a fabulous week in this beautiful property. The views, sea breeze, and nightly coqui serenade will be missed. The villa was clean and updated with great rooms for my large party of 12. The adults and teens in my party all found places to enjoy. Will definitely be back someday.

First, we just loved staying here. It's a beautiful place and the view of the ocean is just breath taking. I would love to bring my family back to this site when we visit St. Thomas again. That said, I want to be honest. There were a few things that stopped me from giving this experience 5 stars across the board. One, there was construction next door that started promptly at 7:30am every morning. This was a jarring wake up call in lieu of such a beautiful setting. Two, the shower of the master bedroom had no protective shield from views from the outside. Remember, we had a construction crew outside and they happened to positioned with a line of sight to the shower. Awkward, yes. Three, the dryer was not properly piped to allow the damp air to exit. This meant that our clothes stayed damp, so we had to hang them to dry. Four, we are not sure why extra towels and linen where not readily available. We had to call the manager to open a locked bin to provide them to us. Five, the appearance of the pool cleaning guy was uncomfortable. He just opened the gate and walked in unannounced. It was unsettling. We called the manager and didn't see him again, but I'm with my family and the feeling of safety is paramount right? Listen, it wasn't perfect, but we had a wonderful time and experience. Like a said, we would love to stay here when we return. Vincent, the property manager is great. The view is just speechless to behold. The rooms are very comfortable. The pool was great, although we prefer the beaches. Did I mention the view? Yes. The pictures we have of the ocean with the birds flying by just out of our reach are now cherished memories. To end this, I must say...SEA LA VIE!!!

Everything was just perfect

This was our first time in the Virgin Islands. We will be back. The property manager met us at the airport and escorted us to the property. Upon arrival, he gave us a tour and answered any questions we had. The house was beautiful and extremely roomy. There is ample outside eating area to enjoy the scenery while dining. The pool was fantastic and provided our own view of a private island. The views were breathtaking. There was a bad storm one evening, but the generator came on and we enjoyed uninterrupted electricity. I would highly recommend a stay.
